美国联邦参议员泰德‧克鲁兹（Ted Cruz）警告，随着中共威胁的日益增长，美国正面临“危险时刻”，并建议三项应对方法，认为最终“真理胜于谎言”。

参议院外交关系委员会委员克鲁兹在“应对中共当前危险委员会”（Committee on the Present Danger: China）4月9日举办的一场论坛中表示，中共在军事、经济以及全球影响力等方面，对美国构成最大的长期地缘政治风险。

针对中共威胁，克鲁兹提出三项应对方法，以揭露中共的活动与网络攻击等非法行为、侵犯人权，以及其它邪恶活动。
