为什么utar Kampar 的campus 所提供的课程没有在JPA的list里面?
到底在Kampar所提供的课程又没有受到承认? |

听说念中文系的...明年全都会搬上kampar 来是吗？？？
因为现在kampar这里现在正在建着提供给中文系学生使用的专用楼哦....
听一些正在念的senior说的...
明年中文系的学生就会有自己的专用楼了.... |

我明年是FICT CN Y2S1 的。在五月的semester时，我们科系的“头头”有告诉我们说明年我们的course会搬去Kampar.当时讲的很肯定的，所以我们大多都在Kampar 那边找了房子。然而在五月的semester考完试时有“风声”说有变动。过后就放3个月假。到目前为止，这消息只是“口头”听来的，所以我想知道更明确的通知。
请问如果我的科系从PJ搬到Kampar，拉大会怎样正式的通知我们？什么时候？ |

MQA & JPA
By MQA & JPA
UTAR is pleased to announce that all its programmes are approved by Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) while 29 of its programmes have received full accreditation from Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), followed by recognition from the Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA), Malaysia.
What does this mean?
Approval by MOHE
All of UTAR's programmes are approved by MOHE before it is being conducted. This is a requirement under the Private Higher Educational Institutions (Conducting Course of Study) Regulations 1997.
Full Accreditation:
This means that when a programme is fully accredited, it is recognised by MQA and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). Of course, we all know that most employers are more ready to employ graduates with recognised qualifications. In addition, graduates with MQA recognised degrees can continue with their post-graduate studies in the IPTAs if they so choose to.
Recognition by JPA:
A JPA recognition is needed for graduates to be accepted into government and statutory body service. With this recognition, UTAR graduates will have additional career choices as they are now eligible for employment in all the government departments and statutory bodies e.g., Treasury, Inland Revenue Department, Tourism Board, Fisheries, all the Ministries, EPF, Bank Negara etc.
When does MQA carry out the accreditation process?
Generally, a programme will be considered due for accreditation when the first cohort students are at the final or 2nd last semester of the programme. This is when the MQA Panel Assessors will carry out the audit.
Upon being satisfied that a particular programme has complied with all its (MQA) requirements, MQA will inform the institution that full accreditation has been granted to that particular programme.
What about the rest of UTAR's programmes?
All of UTAR?s programmes are approved by the Ministry of Higher Education before they are offered for study. Out of the 56 programmes currently being offered and to be offered, 29 have received full accreditation. For the rest of the programmes, UTAR is confident that when the time for their accreditation arrives, the accreditation process will proceed just as smoothly and successfully like the 29 accredited programmes.
