Top Glove给的股息是属于31/08/2007结束的财政年的，可是是在2008年发出。这股息是算2007还是2008年的收入？

Top Glove估计2008年全球手套的需求量是135 billion支，而Top Glove到3月为止的生产力为29.7 billion支；

到3月为止，Top Glove在全球市场占有24％，计划在2010年12月占得35％的市场。2010年的全球手套的需求量是160 billion支。

Top Glove的票数是300 million股。

Top Glove本身的预测：
2008财政年的生产力达到35 billion支，总盈利增加23％,达到RM125 million, 营收增加27％,达到RM1.56 billion。Net Profit Margin是8％。
EPS是41.6sen。

2009财政年的生产力达到44 billion支，总盈利增加24％,达到RM155 million, 营收增加22％,达到RM1.9 billion。Net Profit Margin是8.2％。
EPS是51.58sen。

Top Glove defers acquisition plans

HIT by a weak US dollar, rising shipping costs and costlier latex, rubber glove maker Top Glove Corp Bhd has put its acquisition plans on the back burner for now.

However, it does not rule out taking over rival Hartalega Holdings Bhd "if the opportunity arises again and the timing is right", its chief said.

Top Glove is the world's biggest rubber glove maker with annual production capacity of 30 billion pieces.

However, the smaller Hartalega is the world's most efficient glove maker as its highly-automated production lines can churn out 30,000 gloves an hour, three times faster than at Top Glove.



"This is the first time we're facing headwinds from three different directions. We're being hit by the weakening of the US dollar, rising fuel expenses and rising raw material cost - all at the same time," Top Glove chairman Tan Sri Lim Wee-Chai said.

"Despite these challenges, we are still able to achieve double-digit growth. Also, we're optimistic of maintaining profit margins of between eight and nine per cent," he said.

Asked if Top Glove could fulfil its plans of buying one rival a year, as it had in 2006 and last year, Lim replied: "Looking back, organic growth yields more returns to shareholders."

A few years ago, Lim offered to buy Hartalega - Malaysia's biggest nitrile, or synthetic, glove maker - from founder Kuan Kam Hon. The deal, however, did not materialise.

Still, Top Glove remains optimistic.

"While we focus on organic growth, our door is open to acquisitions. We have a budget of RM100 million per year.

"Hartalega has its strong points. We have to wait and see; it is about timing," Lim said.

He also expressed hopes that Medi-Flex Ltd, a 60 per cent-owned unit, would make profits this financial year ending August 31.

Medi-Flex, which is listed on the Singapore stock exchange, continued to post losses in 2007. It produces 1.6 billion medical and clean-room gloves a year.

Global demand for gloves is growing at between 10 and 12 per cent annually, driven by rising hygiene standards and the emergence of health and bio-terrorism threats.

Lim said Top Glove is on track to capturing 35 per cent of the global market of 160 billion gloves by 2010.

Currently, with annual production capacity of 29.8 billion pieces, it has 24 per cent of the market.

By the year-end, its output will expand to 33 billion pieces when Factory 20 in Klang starts production.

"We can sell whatever we produce. We are covering more countries. There're growth prospects in Russia and northern Europe," Lim said.

To offset the impact of the weak dollar, Top Glove has started to quote in euro for shipments to Europe.

"While some of our European clients accept this, many insist on keeping to the US dollar because they want to leverage on savings from the weakening currency," Lim added.

Top Glove to stage follow-through rebound

SHARE prices on Bursa Malaysia rebounded after four trading days of technical pullbacks yesterday. Its overall advancing counters outnumbered declining counters by 305 to 302.

The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) rebounded from its intra-day low of 1,218.92 to its intra-day high of 1,227.58 yesterday. The KLCI closed at 1,225.71 points, giving a day-on-day gain of 4.64 points, or 0.38 per cent.

Top Glove Corporation Bhd staged a late-day rebound in moving out of its intermediate-term downtrend yesterday. Its daily price trend rebounded to close at RM4.06, giving a day-on-day gain of 10 sen, or 2.53 per cent.

Chartwise, Top Glove's daily price trend fell from its intra-day high of RM6.55 on January 4 all the way down to its intra-day low of RM3.88 on March 10, posting a total loss of RM2.67, or 40.76 per cent.

Its hourly price trend moved sideways in stepping out of its intermediate-term downtrend resistance (B1:B2) yesterday.

Its hourly fast MACD (moving average convergence divergence) continued to stay above its hourly slow MACD yesterday. Its fast and slow MACDs continued to stay above their respective neutral reference lines.

Top Glove's hourly price trend will continue to stage a follow-through rebound.

１／４ 和 ８／４有异常的量，估计庄家的cost是在四块左右，没推个五六块不会罢休吧。量价齐升以量为先。没量的支持迟早会崩回去。
