不可能，MBO都已经花很多钱来装修戏院了。况且那一带有很多中产阶级市民，这样大好赚钱的机会就这样放掉吗？tHE Spring那里泊车也比较方便，相信会吸引很多人去那边看戏（虽然戏票比较贵）。 |

26 Jun – The 8-screen MBO The Spring in Kuching, Sarawak, is at the final stages of completion and is aiming to open concurrently with the Malaysian general release of "Ice Age 3: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs" next week.
Work in progress back in March 2009
According to MBO Cinemas, there will be 3-D facilities at the Kuching outlet and titles such as "Ice Age 3: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs 3D" is the perfect movie to open the cinema in conjunction with.
Located on the second floor of the 3-storey mall touted as the largest in Sarawak, the new MBO cineplex would be the chain's sixth and also the only other cinema in Kuching other than Star Cineplex Kuching and the outlet in Riverside Kuching which was recently passed on by Metrowealth to Lotus Five Star.

The box office at MBO Cinemas' first Johor outlet, MBO Square One, which opened back in January 2009
29 Jun – A new 5-screen cineplex will be open to the public at U Mall in Taman Pulai Utama, Skudai, this Saturday 4 July 2009.
Situated on the first floor, the projected 642-seater will be playing "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen" and also "Ice Age 3: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs". According to MBO Cinemas, the outlet is targeted at younger crowds, especially the student population. On a related note, previous plans to open MBO's outlet in The Spring, Kuching, Sarawak in time for "Ice Age 3" has now been shelved. Instead the East Malaysia outlet will now open in August 2009.
Skudai is regarded as a new growth corridor in Southwest Johor. It is 8km from Kulai and 16 km from JB City (central) where most of the biggest Johor cinemas are located. This is MBO Cinemas' second foothold in Johor, after the MBO Square One Mall in Batu Pahat that was opened earlier in January 2009.
The new MBO Cineplex at U Mall is expected to compete with its geographically closest cinema, Star Screen Cinema Plaza Tasik Skudai, Johor Bahru. |
