Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (PEIX) - Shares of Pacific Ethanol continue to be the hot story on Wall Street lately. I usually buy PEIX when it breaks through the high of the day but will hold if PEIX can clear resistance located at $2.65 & $2.75.
Helicos BioSciences Corporation (HLCS) - Helicos BioSciences Announced the Sale of a Helicos® Genetic Analysis System to the Turku Centre for Biotechnology. The stock shot up $1.37 before selling off. I am watching resistance at the 50 day moving average located at $1.38 as well as the previous high of $1.43. I'd be a buyer above both levels.
Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (CYCC) - Volume has died on CYCC but I continue to watch it. I'd be a buyer on a break above $2.85 & $3.10.
Sunesis Pharmaceuticals Inc. (SNSS) - I am also watching shares of SNSS. I'd be a buyer on a break above $1.34.
Netlist Inc. (NLST) - Netlist Inc announced that they were granted two more patents for their new Hypercloud Technology. I am currently in the stock and would buy more on a break above $5.30. If NLST would ever close above $6.50, you would definitely want to be in. |

Stocks to Watch - 1/21/10
Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (CYCC)- Shares of Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. exploded in a horrible stockmarket today. The stock broke through one major resistance levellocated at $2.85 but stopped at $3.10. A close above $3.10 would bevery bullish going forward.
Dearborn Bancorp Inc. (DEAR) - Shares of Dearborn Bancorp Inc. were up over 175% on Wednesday after the company releasedearnings Tuesday night. The company says they have a tangible bookvalue of $6.79 per share. This seems to be causing the spike.Resistance is located at the 52 week high of $3.22.
SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI)- Shares of Sirius XM Radio Inc soared after the company came out withsubscriber numbers and guidance. The stock is now over the resistancelevel of $0.70 but having trouble at $0.75. I still think you can buySIRI here with a stop at $0.69. Keep an eye on SIRI in the coming days.
Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (PEIX)- Shares of Pacific Ethanol were actually very strong on Wednesdaydespite a huge stock market sell off. I will be buying a break above$2.47. There is also resistance located at $2.65 & $2.75.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - With CTIC, I am watching Thursday's high at $1.24. As soon as the stock breaks above $1.24, I will buy CTIC again.
DryShips, Inc. (DRYS)- DRYS is now showing signs of a basing pattern! I plan to buy again ifDryships breaks back below $6. Resistance continues to be $7 &$7.30.
Alcoa, Inc. (AA) - Looks like we are seeing a pullback to the 10 day moving average located at $14.55. I'd be a buyer at this level.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD)- AMD is trading right around the $9 level right now. Resistance islocated at $10.04. I would be a buyer if the stock fell below $8.

IsoRay, Inc. (ISR) - Shares of IsoRay, Inc. (ISR) were up huge Thursday after the company announced cancer treatment.
SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI)- Shares of Sirius XM Radio Inc continue to hold $0.70 as the stockmarket tanks. I only like SIRI above $0.70 right now and if the stockbreaks above $0.75, it would resume the break out.
Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (PEIX)- I am also watching shares of Pacific Ethanol after the huge rallyover the past week. I plan to buy the stock as soon as it breaksthrough the high of the day again.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - With CTIC, I am watching last Thursday's high at $1.24. As soon as the stock breaks above $1.24, I will buy CTIC again.
DryShips, Inc. (DRYS)- Drys almost gained momentum on Thursday morning due the to BDI beingup. The stock market began to tank and DRYS went down with it. I planto buy DRYS again when it breaks back above $6.20. |
