SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov. 22 (AP)-- Carlos Boozer had 32 points and 13 rebounds, and the Utah Jazz rallied from a 21-point deficit to beat the Sacramento Kings 110-101 on Wednesday night for their seventh straight victory.
Utah finally got its offense going in the second half, continually getting the ball to Boozer, who used his big body to score inside and helped gradually carve into the Kings' lead. Utah outscored Sacramento 39-17 in the fourth quarter. |

想当年 Carlos Boozer 在 Jazz 的第一球季因伤所累，
被媒体评为高薪低能，
现在却是 MVP 候选人，真的是峰回路转呀。。。
顺便一提，Deron Williams 和 Carlos Boozer 竟然同时被媒体提名首月 MVP 候选人 |

我不是要打击你们哦...只是我听朋友说过一件事情关于爵士的...那就是去年的时候爵士的开局也是满猛的...后来就.......orz |

说得没错。。。 2005-06年开季时爵士是相当不错的，可是BOOZER和KIRILENKO不久后就来入驻伤兵营后，战绩就每况愈下。过后球队表现就反复不定，就如同KIRILENKO的伤势 等到季末时BOOZER回来，爵士又打出一波连胜高潮，几乎进了季后赛。。。 可惜还是差了一点点。
所以，我们必须祈祷今年的爵士队球员个个远离伤病 |

最新的NBA.COM Power Ranking,爵士的评价仍然是联盟里最高的。分析家特别指出在JERRY SLOAN的指导下，两位新秀表现不俗。
其实我觉得3位新秀都表现理想：
- C.J.MILES：平均4。2分。SLOAN这个重视表现多于一切的老头子会MILES放在正选Shooting Guard，个中原因可想而知。
- PAUL MILLSAP：平均7.2分的表现，真令人侧目。
- RONNIE BREWER: 平均5.5分。曾大取24分。

Power Rankings: Nov. 16, 2006
November 22, 2006 -- Welcome to NBA.com's fourth Power Rankings of 2006-07, which come out every Thursday this year, except for this week when we'll be eating turkey. Wondering how the teams are ranked? There's no scientific formula. The rankings are simply based on a combination of quality wins, disappointing losses, interesting stats and a healthy dose of my personal opinion.
While the Jazz and Hornets continue their strong starts, the Mavericks and Pistons are getting into the groove and continue to climb back up in the rankings. The Mavs crack the top 5 this week, so who fell out? Was it your team?
High jump of the week: Detroit (+12)
Free fall of the week: Chicago (-8)
TEAM (LAST WK) REC. BREAKDOWN
1 Utah (1) 10-1 If the 10-1 record isn't shocking enough, look at the burn two rookies are getting playing for Jerry Sloan.
2 San Antonio (2) 9-2 Once unbeatable at home, the Spurs are flexing their muscles on the road (6-0). San Antonio is a mere 3-2 in its own gym with games there this week vs. Miami and Dallas.
3 Cleveland (4) 8-3 No Hughes, no problem so far. The ankle sprain will likely have him missing the team's three games in the next four nights.
4 Dallas (12) 7-4 My, what a difference two weeks makes. That, and six straight double-doubles from Dirk.
5 NO/Okla City (5) 8-3 Enjoy the break for turkey, fellas, because the rest of the week it's game time, including stops at Phoenix and Dallas.

D。WILLIAM在第四节投入10分，协助爵士击败湖人队，达到8连胜，取得联盟最佳12胜1负。
BOOZER是本场比赛的MVP － 31分16篮板。OKUR在篮板和得分取得2双。D。WILLIAM在得分和助攻取得2双。爵士队有6人得分达到双位数。
爵士队取胜的关键在于篮板球的绝对优势45－27，以及23－9的二次得分机会

SALT LAKE CITY(AP) Deron Williams scored 11 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter and the Utah Jazz won their eighth straight, rallying to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 114-108 Friday night and improve to an NBA-best 12-1.
Carlos Boozer had 31 points and 16 rebounds and Andrei Kirilenko blocked five shots in his first game back after missing five with a sprained ankle. |

今天爵士对上勇士 碰一鼻子灰...
R. Brewer, C. Boozer,A. Kirilenko, M. Okur全面哑火, 都只得4分...再加上替补G. Giricek的4分...还有D. Williams的14分...恐怖...这么多4...好像就是在诅咒“死”...不寒而栗.....
其中还被勇士送了12次盖帽...犯规24次...还有全队高达22次的失误...
幸而有老江湖-Fisher和harping合力贡献27分...才不至于输得太惨...
千万别因为前面的赢球...而松懈下来啊 NBA可是82场也...要再接再厉咯~加油
*个人认为D.Williams要拿最佳进步奖不容易，前面有个国王的小将K.Martin哦~

其实这是犹他爵士队在马龙/史托克顿时代后最强的阵容...只要Okur,Kirilenko及Boozer不要再像上赛季轮流受伤,健健康康的爵士队肯定有能力在今年问鼎NBA总冠军宝座的...其实看Boozer/Williams的组合让我想起当年马龙和史托克顿天衣无缝的配合.... |

唉~ 所有主将同时哑火，还真少见。不过，这也要归功于勇士队的ZONE DEFENCE彻底封住BOOZER，OKUR和WILLIAM。
勇士队的教练DON NELSON和JERRY SLOAN是棋逢对手。。。 彼此在NBA执教数十年，这一场是DON NELSON胜了。
爵士必须吸取教训如何应对ZONE DEFENCE，因为接下来很多队伍都会采用ZD来克制爵士的HALF COURT OFFENCE。
Utah never could get going against the Warriors' 1-2-2 zone, which clogged the lane and prevented the Jazz from establishing any kind of offense underneath the basket.
``We had to try something new to cover one of the hottest teams in the league,'' Nelson said. ``Who would have ever thought ... we'd be able to come in here and beat the best team in the West? Tonight the basketball gods were looking down on us.''
The Jazz struggled through their worst opening quarter of the season, committing seven turnovers while shooting just 25 percent from the floor. The 14 points were a season low for Utah, which struggled with its half-court offense and failed to slow down a Golden State team minus its leading scorer and a second key starter. |

我反而觉得偶尔有一个小小的低潮对球队有好处...输球可以让他们发现潜藏的弱点,并作出改变...
上赛季的Piston就是最佳的反面教材...常规赛简直是无敌,结果到了季后赛就漏气了... |

SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 29 (AP) -- The Utah Jazz kept their losing streak brief by getting back to what got them off to the best start in the NBA.
The score was close and the shooting wasn't good for either team, but the Jazz dominated San Antonio in rebounding and beat the Spurs 83-75 Wednesday.
The Jazz seemed to corral almost every missed shot - and there were plenty of them - and outrebounded San Antonio 50-34 while beating the Spurs for the first time since April 2005. |

KOBE BRYANT似乎完全从膝盖手术中恢复过来，大取51分，打败了爵士队！
哎~ 连JERRY SLOAN都不得不承认，防守取分能力强大的Shooting Guard对爵士实在是一个难题。MICHAEL REDD，KOBE BRYANT，VINCE CARTER。。。
还有以前的－MICHAEL JORDAN！

Looking completely recovered from offseason knee surgery, Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 52 points in the Los Angeles Lakers' 132-102 rout of the Utah Jazz on Thursday night.
He made all nine shots from the floor and was 10-for-10 at the foul line in his highest-scoring game since an 81-point outburst against Toronto on Jan. 22 last season. He had 30 points in the third quarter, tying his own team record set during a 62-point effort against Dallas on Dec. 20. |

超音速的RAY ALLEN在第四节攻入20分，几乎一个人干掉爵士队（超级SG似乎是爵士队的天敌）。。。 幸好有那里粒救命的3分MONEY BALL

SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 2 (AP) -- Mehmet Okur is quickly becoming the Utah Jazz's shot-maker with the game on the line.
Okur hit a 3-pointer with 1.6 seconds left to help the Utah Jazz hold off the Seattle SuperSonics 109-107 on Saturday night.
``Since last year, he has hit so many big shots for us. He can struggle all game, it doesn't matter, he'll take that big one,'' said Deron Williams, who had 18 points and nine assists.
Okur is earning a penchant for game-winners and calls his late, long-range shots: ``Moneyballs.''
``You know, right place at the right time. I think D-Will did a great job. He just pushed the ball hard,'' said Okur, who missed his first four shots. ``It was a good pass and I was open. I have confidence in my shot.''
So do his teammates.
``Memo hits big shots,'' said Carlos Boozer, who led Utah with 24 points and made a putback to give Utah a 106-105 lead with 11.5 seconds left.
Ray Allen scored 20 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter, including a drive past Andrei Kirilenko for a layup with seven seconds left that gave Seattle a 107-106 lead.
But that left too much time for the Jazz. Without calling a timeout, Deron Williams rushed the ball up the court and found Okur open in the right corner for a 3-pointer with 1.6 seconds left.
Allen had one last chance but missed a hurried 27-footer as time expired.
``He's a great player,'' Williams said of Allen. ``He struggled a little bit with his shot early in the game, but when it came to the fourth quarter, he brought them back single-handedly.''

Sloan Named NBA Western Conference Coach of the Month
SALT LAKE CITY (December 1, 2006) – Utah Jazz’ head coach, Jerry Sloan, today was named the NBA Western Conference Coach of the Month for games played from the start of the season (Oct. 31) through November.
Sloan led the Jazz to a 13-4 (.765) record for the month, which included a 9-2 mark in Western Conference play. Opening the season by winning 12 of 13, Utah enjoys a three-game lead in the Northwest Division. The Jazz’s 8-1 mark at home this season is tops in the league. The fifth-winningest coach in NBA history, Sloan needs just three victories to reach 1,000 for his career.
Other nominees for Western Conference Coach of the Month award were Dallas’ Avery Johnson, Houston’s Jeff Van Gundy, Los Angeles Lakers’ Phil Jackson and San Antonio’s Gregg Popovich.

AK47，期待啊！自从olajuwon以来，还没有人可以在单季火锅和抄截200球以上的，我看唯一可以打破神的纪录的人就只有他了。
还有D.William，努力啊！！你让我想起了Stockton。虽然最佳新秀奖给C.Paul拿去了，但不代表你永远不如他啊。超越他吧！！！ |
