有这样的反应，我已经满足了。如果排除 modem 价格在外，从回复中可以看得出 celcom broadband 的速度令人满意。我没玩 online games。

谢谢大家的回复。

原本想马上 sign up，但 pc fair 将来，就多忍几天吧。

我原本还想问什么是山猪，哈哈，这样翻译也可以。

对，celcom 还有一个特别之处，就是 contract 可以随时断，但好像要给 RM350 penalty 不是吗？

一个 3G 要比普通手机贵几百元，我拿一个 pcmcia 或 usb modem，算起来价钱也差不多。

最重要是电话进来是我不用让电话一直＂绑＂在电脑附近。如果电脑是其他人正用着（比方说朋友在喝茶时借用），我电话有私人谈话，可以跑开。即使电话坏了拿去修理，也不影响上网。

RM400-RM500 一个卡，还 ok。

忘了是听到工作人员说的，还是亲眼看到 T&C，印象中有 RM350 penalty。

但这比 maxis broadband 的情形稍好，因为如果 maxis broadband 过了 7 天，则是 18 个月合约。18 个月后自动更新。（听了很可怕是不是？）

一个月 RM98，RM350 等于 3 个月半，因此，越早 terminate 越划算。比如几个月后刚好出国公干，还是发现更好的配套欲转换。

如果只剩大概半年时间，就继续服务吧。

（但条文不外人情，我尝试过 streamyx 更换公司地址和搬家，两次 terminate streamyx，一次被要求写一封解释，另一次口头解释就可以了，都没有 terminate penalty，所以，对 18 个月合约，也不要完全绝望）

刚刚去 blue cube 问了，现有的 celcom 配套如下。

Termination Penalty 确定是 RM350。

算起来，两个配套差别不大，
18 个月，RM499 / 18 = RM27.72。

配套 A 免费 modem 和 B 自买 modem 的价格相差 RM30 左右。相不多。

huawei usb modem 市价要 RM600 左右。

况且，如果要更节省，laptop 又可以接受 pcmcia slot，去外面拿个 RM200 的 3G 卡，或 RM300 的 HSDPA 卡，也无不可。

无论价格和 T&C 都比 maxis broadband 稍好。

当然，如果其他人觉得价钱是选择配套的主因之一，加上活动范围也拿不到 hsdpa 速度，拿个 digi edge RM66 买个 nokia 3120 可以了。

先不要绝望，如果要 terminate，你尝试去 celcom centre 心平气和地解释，我相信客户服务人员也有人情味，接受合理的理由而 waive 了 termination penalty，当然他们不能公开式的鼓励用户这么做，因此在 T&C 里看不到。从正面的角度去想，至少 RM350 比 18 个月合约来得更便宜一些。

一个小时断线 5、6 次，还蛮糟糕的。是常用的宽频吗？如果是，也许你应该考虑更换配套，它不适合你那个区域。如果你能早在 7 天的 cooling off period 发现，就更好了。

不用的 只要去申请一张sim card来用broadband就可以了 不需要是postpaid或prepaid用户的

Celcom Mobile Broadband offers faster connection speed with GPRS/3G/HSDPA connectivities with our attractive data packages. All Celcom customers are now able to choose a package that suits to their broadband needs and enjoy the internet facility at a speed of up to 3.6Mbps. Now effective 4 December 2007, we are introducing our new Monthly Unlimited Advance package.
1) Pay Per Use - GPRS/3G/HSDPA at speed of up to 3.6Mbps - open to all Celcom customers - no monthly fee - browsing internet using 3G or GPRS is charged at 1sen/1kb
2) Daily Unlimited - GPRS/3G at speed of up to 384kbps - open to Celcom customers who activate the Pay Per Use only - able to browse the internet 24 hours a day at a rate of RM8 only - able to activate the facility via two (2) methods i.e. i- SMS - Type Broadband Daily and send to 28882 ii- USSD - Dial *118# and press call button or OK and refer to the guidelines - no cancellation of plan allowed after activation or within 24 hours - at the expiry of the 24 hour period, the service will automatically be cancelled and converted to Pay Per Use rate.

我突然想到，帖 #16 的朋友，你所说的断线 5、6 次，是因为没有让网路运作才发生的吗？

当上网却没有任何动作的时候，这个等于 idle 模式，不只无线宽频，有些 ISP 会故意把它的连线弄断，好让其他要上网的人可以分享有限度的频道。

应该有 20 或 30 分钟、或一个小时的断线 policy 在 T&C 里。

A. 没有拿配套，只拿 D68/ D98，是没有合约的。可以随时取消。

B. 拿配套的，就根据你的配套的policy走。如12months, 18months等等。

我买二手datacard 加 D68配套。最好确定收到3G／3.5G，要不然GPRS就慢死了。

是的，我也听说 D68 和 D98 等配套是没有 contract。可以随时中止。有网友私下问我，我也是这么回答，看当时签的配套 T&C。

但最新的这几个配套有附送 modem ，或以优惠价购买 modem，因此这个 RM350 termination penalty 是否强制性的？

我比较兴趣的是 RM108 配套。这个肯定有 RM350 termination penalty。

大概 TMnet 发现最近很多人从 streamyx 转换配套去其他公司，因此希望以这个 RM108 配套抓住现有和新客户。

但我还是看一看其他配套再说。现在竞争激烈，除了 celcom 曾拿过别人来测试，还有 u mobile 我没试过，看看再说。但好多人（包括我的几天实验）对 celcom 的速度还 ok。
