A convoy is only as effective if the Marshal cars are strict and members are disciplined. I started being Zero Car (lead car since March of 2003 and had gone through rigorous training to become Zero Car - and I can tell you why we call it Zero car..as there is a story behind it which many clubs don't know. I started off as Assistant Team Leader C for Pearl of The Orient getaway in April 2002, Hot Car 2 for Sawadee Phuket, December 2002 and Zero Car for Eco Drive - Rompin in March 2003 and with each and every local and cross border getaway, the convoy procedures get more and more refined.
