12/8/09 - Stock Market Ideas

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD)- AMD was on fire again Monday after an upgrade and the fact that IntelCorporation (INTC) will be delaying their graphic chip. The next majorresistance level is located at $9.50. I'd be a buyer of pullbacks to$7.60 with a stop at $7.50.

Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan, Inc. (POT) - Goldman Sachs upgrade POT on Monday.  A break above $124 would be very bullish going forward.

Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ)
Daily Finan. Bull 3X Shs(ETF)(FAS)- FAS appears to be back in control right now. While I'd like to buy adip below $70, this may not happen anytime soon. I will be buying FASfor a quick trade if the stock breaks above $76.33.

Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) - RIMM was up 3% Monday due to the following news.You could see a real break out occur leading up to earnings if thestock breaks $61.49. Keep an eye on this level. Earnings are due out12/17/09.

U.S. Concrete, Inc. (NASDAQ:RMIX) is staging one of the healthiest rebounds I've seen in months.  If it continues to get traction, it could be an easy double.

First and foremost, check out the volume for U.S. Concrete shares. It was plentiful on the way down, then tapered off as RMIX flattened out. Once the recovery began, volume started to increase again.

Based on the bowl-shaped curvature of the chart, I think U.S. Concrete's reversal pattern will indeed get traction. I'm looking for shares to rebound back towards $1.70 or so, where they waffled in October.

Dana Holding tgt raised to $12 at Barclays as 2010 guidance could be strong catalyst . Barclays raises their DAN tgt to $12 from $8. The firm notes that despite having put to rest all liquidity concerns, and even after a significant outperformance over the past 6 months, DAN continues to trade at the lowest multiple in the group, largely due to a lack of exposure of the fairly recent senior management to investors, and very limited sell-side coverage. The firm believes that visit of Dana headquarters later this week will provide investors an opportunity to spend time with the CEO and the rest of senior management, but more importantly, the strong 2010 guidance the firm expects management to initiate in an investor call later this month could constitute a meaningful positive catalyst for the stock, in the firm's view.
