Introducing Foundations in Accountancy – ACA’s new suite of

entry‑level qualifications

ACCA is introducing a new suite of entry-level awards – collectively referred to as

Foundations in Accountancy – designed to act as great preparation for those who wish to

progress their career to professional level, or provide recognition and reward for individuals

working in accounting-support roles.

Foundations in Accountancy is being introduced after detailed consultation which

started back in 2008 with all ACCA stakeholders, including employers, learning

providers, professional accountancy bodies, students and members – so many

of you will have played a crucial part in shaping ACCA’s new suite of awards.

The purpose of the awards is to provide students with the opportunity to

build solid foundations in their accountancy knowledge and receive recognition

and reward for the levels they achieve. It also provides ideal preparation for those

who wish to progress to the status of qualified accountant and continue on to the

ACCA Qualification. The suite of qualifications has also been designed with

employers in mind, shaped to meet their business needs. This,

in turn, benefits trainees who gain any of the qualifications

within Foundations in Accountancy as they will have

qualifications recognised and in demand by employers

which may help improve their chances of employment.

    其实也未必，要完成必要有Relevant experience is only a
requirement for the completion
of the CAT Qualification。。。。
