| How to be an agent?

| To be an agent, you must;
a) Be at least 21 years old
b) Possess a minimum of SPM Grade III or its equivalent qualification
c) Register with the Federation of Malaysian Unit Trust Managers (FMUTM) and
pass the Computerised Unit Trust Examination (CUTE)
d) Complete the Agent Application form and other relevant documents

| Can one join as an agent on a part time basis?
|
| You can join Public Mutual as an agent on a part time basis.

3.
| Can a foreigner be an agent?
|
| Foreigners with work permit &/or Permanent Residence, are at least 21 years old and possess equivalent SPM Grade III qualification can apply. However, the application is subject to the approval by Management on a case to case basis.

| Can one be an agent if he does not possess the required qualifications? How about work experience?
|
| An individual seeking registration to deal in unit trusts must possess at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) Grade 3 or its equivalent, as determined by the FMUTM. FMUTM has not given exemption based on work experience.

5.
| What if I have lost my SPM certificate?
|
| You can complete the "Statutory Declaration For Loss of Certificate" to be attested by the Commissioner of Oath and pay RM6.00 being processing fees (to the FMUTM). You can obtain the "Statutory Declaration For Loss Of Certificate" from any of Public Mutual's branches nearest to you.
