The International University College Of Technology Twintech (IUCTT) also widely known as "TWINTECH" for short is a private publicly-funded university college in Malaysia.. The main IUCTT campus is located in Bandar Sri Damansara , Selangorwith future plans to move to even bigger campus grounds in Bangi (alsoin Selangor) in the very near future. Plans are also afoot to makeTWINTECH a full-fledged university.
IUCTT‘s vision is to produce credible and competent experts whopossess Malaysian values in various fields and generate a dynamicsociety that safeguard the nations interests and prosperity. To achievethis, it is IUCTT's vision to develop into a University College of global status with the strength in balanced teaching-learning processes
IUCTT's mission is to draw and attract industries to collaboratedirectly with us in training and producing skilled and professionalworkforce. Our programs are designed to bridge the gap between secondary and tertiary educationGraduates from these courses will be IUCTT 's best feeders particularlyat the degree level, moreover recognized foundation certificate,diploma and Master. It is therefore IUCTT's mission to offer qualityand relevant education designed to produce students who areknowledgeable with high morale and positive self representation. At IUCTT, we have given the emphasis on hands on training forstudents through their learning. This is done through practicaltraining and presentation. For this purpose, guests and speakers areinvited from various field to give views and comments on students'work. On the other hand, 60% of lecturers at IUCTT not only excel intheir education but also have vast experience in their own professionalfield.

IUCTT was founded with the purpose of providing higher academicopportunities for Malaysian and foreign students to achieve variousacademic excellence in the fields of Architecture & BuiltEnvironment, Business & Finance, Computing & InformationTechnology, Engineering & Industrial Technology, Biotechnology,Multimedia & Creative Technology and Medicine & Allied Sciences.
The institute has established itself as a provider of qualityeducation offering programmes in Architecture & Built Environment,Business, Computing & Multimedia, Engineering.These programmes aretailored to meet the nation's need for qualified professionals, in stepwith the nation's mission to achieve the vision 2020
IUCTT started its humble beginnings from a modest rented premise in Setapak. Since then, it has establish itself as one of leading povider of quality education. Presently, it has two campuses at Bandar Sri Damansarathat comes fully equipped with modern facilities and amenities,including well-equipped computing suites, engineering laboratories andarchitectural studios.
Currently, we have approximately more than 9,000 students studying awide variety of programmes under local and overseas twinningprogrammes, Approximately 150 local and overseas fulltime lecturerssupport the academic programmes at IUCTT.
All programmes under IUCTT will be awarded interlly with some willbe quality controlled by universities from United Kingdom and localUniversities. Currently IUCTT is the only private university collegeoffering B.Med Sc.(Hons), B.Optometry(Hons), B.Med Sc.(Hons)Dentistry,MBBS, BBA Islamic Finance and BBA(Hons) International Business. Moreprogrammes are in the planning especially in the field of medicine and banking.
It is also the aim of The Institute to provide affordable, costeffective and quality education through continual, intellectual andsocial development of students, and creating a conducive environmentwith modern facilities and well qualified lecturers.
Bandar Sri Damansara is the main campus of IUCTT, which is fullyequipped with modern facilities and amenities, including well equippedcomputing suites, engineering laborotories and architectural studios.The main campus are home for 6 faculties In the same location, thereare Wisma Twintech home of Faculty of Health Science & Medicinesand Faculty of Biotechnology. In the same location also, there areWisma IUCTT located there fully home for Faculty Architecture &Built Environment. Faculty of Business & Finance had shifted frommain campus to IUCTT Bangi campus.
Construction is presently underway for a much larger campus in the newly developed township of Lembah Beringin,about 40 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur. This new and modern campuswill be equipped with state-of-the art facilities and will be capableof accommodating 10,000 students when fully completed. |
