2.Types of LINUX OS existing today on a global basis.

3.Market survey of the types of LINUX used nowadays and estimates of popularity of LINUX compared to other OS as well as popularity of the different types of LINUX.

4.System software requirements for the different types of LINUX. Look into requirements of LINUX kernel, shells and well as the X Windows GUIs.

5.System hardware requirements for the different types of LINUX with regards to CPU, memory and hard disk space.

6.Selection of a type of LINUX OS for the group.

7.Investigate the requirements of partitioning of the hard disk for the computer wherein the installation is to be performed.
