这消息真的是太好了!真的等太久了!
Ever had a parent who finds it difficult to load prepaid credits on their mobile phone? Well U Mobile Sdn Bhd and Sedania Innovator Berhad have entered into a partnership to make it possible for U Mobile prepaid subscribers to transfer or request mobile credits from other users via an app or SMS. U Mobile prepaid subscribers who want to transfer airtime to other U Mobile prepaid subscribers can simply do it via SMS and the USSD Menu Browser or using the ShareShare app available from Google Play and and iOS App Store. More details on the service will be available on U Mobile's website once the service is ready.
According to Jasmine Lee, chief marketing officer of U Mobile, this is just the first step in the company's plan to add value and enhance customer experience -- the plan is to eventually also offer airtime sharing between prepaid and postpaid users. Lee added that mobile credit transfer is fast becoming the preferred method for prepaid users to send mobile credits to their family and friends. The airtime sharing service has not yet gone live but U Mobile expects the service to be available around the middle of the year and Lee says that while prices have not been set yet, it will be "competitive" compared to other telcos. U Mobile is not the only telco on board with the airtime sharing service -- to date, Celcom Axiata Berhad, Maxis Berhad and Tune Talk Sdn Bhd also allow airtime sharing via Sedania's ShareShare app. |
