Hi, just to post here so that you guys don't make a mistake like me.
I have both series4 UA32D4000 and series6 UA40D6400. My old series4 can play RMVB file without any problem. But start from series5 or series6, Samsung remove support for RMVB file. But shopkeeper told me series6 support RMVB file. I call Samsung Malaysia, a lady told me they only support RMVB in Korea. In Malaysia, they will flash a new Malaysia firmware to disable it. So all Malaysia model will not support RMVB. Please take note of this as I trusted Samsung will do the right thing for customer. Now looks like they choose to play hidden cut cost game. If you use RMVB a lot, I would advise you to skip series5 or series6. Now I will need to stick to my old series4 for RMVB file.

have you try to download and install the firmware from samsung korea, china, taiwan and hong kong website, i heard that those firmware consist of rmvb codec.

我也买了UA40D6600 ，就是加了web browser 和built in wifi. RMVB就不能了。
