In the theory of 4p, any companies that are taking the advantages of 4p is our competitors
Price, Product, Place, Promotion
For companies which are willing to provide better quality product product at a lower price, or moderate quality product at a lower price are most probably to be our competitors.
For some places such as rural location, customers are more used to buy products that come with moderate quality at a lower price instead of better quality at a higher price.
For customers, they are more used to buy the products which are having promotion such as discount, which let them gain more value at a lower price.
Therefore, strategic marketing is important for us to gain competitive strength such as selling better quality product at a lower price that suit the needs of different customers, and providing promotion for any unmarketable products. |

4p do not indicate those kind of concept right? 4p are strategy that used to address to your targeted audience, isnt it? Competitor is not measured by such method, Kotler stated that, competitors are those firms that produce similiar products or substitutes products that served for the same targeted audience.
So... you have used the not really related theory... hehe
