YTL Power Declares 2nd Tax-Exempt Interim Dividend of 7.5%

YTL Power International Berhad ("YTL Power") declared an additional tax-exempt Interim Dividend of 7.5% for the financial year ending 30 June 2007.

The tax-exempt status of the Interim Dividend effectively amounts to a gross distribution of 10%, increasing returns to shareholders to approximately 7.4% based on the 6-month weighted average share price of RM2.22, taking into consideration the following distributions and dividends for the financial year to date:-

* 1st tax-exempt Interim Dividend of 7.5% paid on 18 April 2007; and
* Share dividend of 1 treasury share for every 25 YTL Power shares, the entitlement date for which was 4 February 2007.

The book closure date for the 2nd Interim Dividend is 12 June 2007 and the payment date is 25 June 2007.

从回酬来说，公司今年已有所增长，加上公司不断的share buy back，相信公司目前还是能为股东带来更骄人的回酬成绩及股东权益。。。


以公司现有的资金很可能再继续购入有潜力的子公司。。。

此外，wessex water 在马来西亚进行净化工作，必定能为公司带来新的收入。。。

受到銷售與融資成本及稅務高企侵蝕盈利，楊忠禮機構（YTL,4677）截至2007年3月31日止首9個月淨利表現遜色，但仍慷慨派發股息。

與此同時，該集團的電力、產業投資信託和洋灰業務盈利皆不俗。

楊忠禮機構首9個月淨利從前期的5億6148萬4000令吉，下跌28.23%至4億零299萬1000令吉。

營業額增長8.12%至42億8573萬3000令吉，前期為39億6373萬令吉。

楊忠禮機構建議派發中期股息每股7.50仙。

楊忠禮電力（YTLPOWR,6742）首9個月淨利增加22.50%，從前期的6億1102萬1000令吉，增至7億4853萬令吉。

營業額報29億零51萬2000令吉，較前期的27億3241萬9000令吉勁揚6.15%。

楊忠禮電力宣佈派發中期股息每股3.75仙。

升喜產業信託（STAREIT,5109）首9個月淨利猛增183.12%，從前期1885萬9000令吉，增至5339萬4000令吉。

營業額暴漲167.53%至7281萬3000令吉，前期報2721萬6000令吉。

楊忠禮洋灰（YTLCMT,8737）首9個月淨利報1億1193萬6000令吉，較前期的1億零380萬令吉增加7.84%。

營業額報8億3382萬3000令吉，比前期的7億7112萬5000令吉增加8.13%.

楊忠禮洋灰建議派發中期股息每股5仙。

楊忠禮置地（YTLLAND,2577）業績失色，首9個月淨利大挫59.54%至1107萬令吉，前期為2736萬令吉。

營業額減少至8818萬8000令吉，比前期的1億零258萬4000令吉大降14.03%。

（吉隆坡25日訊）楊忠禮機構（YTL，4677，主板建築）及子公司業績表現不一，加上受大盤套利風波及，大部分概念股黯然陷跌勢。

隨著大盤套利風狂吹，大部分楊忠禮機構概念股自開市起，股價即朝南滑，交投量則以楊忠禮機構及楊忠禮能源（YTLPOWR，6742，主板基建）最熾熱。

楊忠禮機構昨日宣佈截至3月杪第3季業績，營業額按年起8.1%，當中77%來自能源業務，其余13.2%來自製造業。

此外，楊忠禮能源及楊忠禮洋灰（YTLCMT，8738，主板工業）的營業額，分別按年增8.3%及7.9%。

益資利艾文紐證券研究（ECMLibra）在分析報告說，儘管楊忠禮機構首季淨利雖下滑39%，但主要受有效稅收（Effective Tax Rate）上漲所影響，並未反映實質營運環境。

建商建議買入

楊忠禮機構的有效稅收從上一季的20.2%，增至29.1%；受此影響，該公司的淨利按年下挫28.2%至9590萬令吉。

該行給予“買入”投資建議，目標價10.50令吉。

另一方面，拉昔胡申證券研究在分析報告指出，楊忠禮能源早前奪得總值10億令吉的河流淨化工程，巴生河是主要淨化河流。

報告指出，上述合約料將承包給獨資子公司威塞斯水供（Wessex Water），但礙于未獲得具體詳情，因此未納入評估考量內。

“相信楊忠禮能源取得本地水電工程的機會相當渺茫，反而海外合約更能主催長期盈利成長。”

該行也說，扣除額外進帳后，楊忠禮能源業績符合預期，唯一驚喜是總值8890萬令吉的額外進帳。

該行給予“符合大市”投資評估，合理價2.55令吉。

KUALA LUMPUR, June 7 (Bernama) -- Media Prima Bhd's Radio Networks -- HOT FM and FLY FM -- have recorded another strong increase in listenership and continue to acquire a growing market share among the Malay and English radio stations, the company said today.

Citing new survey data released by Nielsen Media Research, Media Prime said listenership for HOT FM rose significantly by nearly one million or 33 percent to nearly four million listeners and affirmed its position as the nation's number two radio station.

Further, the gap between HOT FM and the leading radio network in Malaysia has narrowed further from three million listeners in the last survey to 1.3 million listeners, the company said in a statement.

FLY FM, meanwhile, strengthened its position by enjoying the highest increase for any English radio station with a 60 percent gain to record a listenership of 702,000, Media Prima said.

FLY FM is now firmly established as the number two English radio station in Malaysia, it added.

"The rapid growth shown by both HOT FM and FLY FM shows that they have made a significant impact in all segments of an already established and competitive radio market," said head of Media Prima's radio networks, Ahmad Izham Omar.
