寻找AJAX高手！！！

有几个难题想请教各位大大的。。。因为我刚为我公司的网站做了DRAG&DROP的FUNCTION，现在老板要我做一些我不会做的难题。。。

希望有高手能够帮忙。。。

1。有谁会将POWERPOINT里的IMAGE copy&paste去网站,那网站会立刻呈现那IMAGE(例如能直接将MS POWERPOINT的插图PASTE去MS WORD之类的)

2。直接DRAG FILE FROM DESKTOP & PASTE AT BROWSER(据我所知例如DRAG 。SWF 的FILE那BROWSER会直接开启那FLASH FILE 的)

strongly agree... but wat he said is "if cannot be done, then i will quit my job & u quit ur job" i also have discuss wif him that will violate some security issue, bcoz IE also face critical security problem when drag-and-drop from browser to desktop, drag event will bypass all those security layer my boss want my portal to become more powerful than yahoo, google n msn, die hard now

This can be done using signed applet or activex control.

You need to digital sign the applet or activex control. When the page is load, it will prompt out a dialog to ask the user whether want to accept/trust the certificate/website/applet/activex control.

If user accept, then the signed applet can access local resources such as file in the local drive.

This actually make sense. For example an application using by multiple branches for a big organization, we can simply provide a URL, all the branche's users can use the application by accessing the url. We can change the applet to Java Swing application and launch using Java Web Start Technology also.

Can, just like any application that run in local system.

个人觉得,如果需要用到external applications就不如直接写desktop application了还要ajax来干吗？
