phpmyadmin的设定问题

小弟刚install 了mysql 4.11, 但记得以前install后，taskbar会出现一个类似红绿灯的tray icon,但这次我看不见
然后我就type http://localhost/phpmyadmin/index.php
它竟然出现file download的dialog box.. why?
那里出错了呢？

你没安装 php, 所以会出现 file download.
另外, 你的 MySQL 应该已经转换成 windows service.
去 Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services -> MySQL 就可以看到. |

何谓已经转换成 windows service呢？应该转换成什么呢？有什么分别？
以及如何转换回去？

同时我想问。。当我enter http://localhost/phpmyadmin/index.php 时，出现下列的文字
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in config.inc.php and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.
wat caused tis happened? and how to solve it? |

没有分别. 要用的时候只要在 service 那里按 start, 否则, 就让它自动随着 windows 来 start.
当初你安装 Mysql 的时候, 还记得你的 password 吗? 你需要去修改 phpmyadmin 的其中之一的文件, config.inc.php, 尝试把 user 和 password 改成 "root" 和 "password". |

不好意思...想借楼主的帖问一下...mysql可以连接跟visual studio.net2003吗? 我每次都是使用ms sql2000的, 现在要换成mysql...我不懂mysql咧..想请教大家..谢谢.. |

当初你安装 Mysql 的时候, 还记得你的 password 吗? 你需要去修改 php
myadmin 的其中之一的文件, config.inc.php, ...
我以mysql administrator 来login.. 发觉我的password = 123456 , username = root, 并成功login进去
但当我更改了config.inc.php，还是不能进去phpmyadmin.. 为何呢？

当然可以, 你可以用 ODBC, 首先你要先安装 MySQL ODBC, 你可以在 MySQL 的网站下载. |

error msg as above... i already enter "username" , "password", "host" , "port" to every field i found in config.inc.php
username = "root"
password = "123456"
host = "ATHLON"
port = "3306" |

php.ini 可以從 php.ini-dist, 或者 php.ini-recommended
copy 然後修改 |

不好意思...想借楼主的帖问一下
我安装了PHP 5，MySQL Server 5，PhpMyAdmin-2.8.0.4。
我的IIS时Abyss Web Server X1。
PHP一开始就设置好了。
MySQL就connect不到，可是上个星期我解决了。
之后就安装phpmyadmin。
问题就一大堆。。。
之前使connect不到phpmyadmin，什么extention的问题。
现在都弄好了。
当我enter http://localhost/phpmyadmin/index.php，
银幕上只出现一行字，"No input file specified."
另一个问题是我发现到我的phpmyadmin里没有config.inc.php。
我刚刚重新下载，结果还是没有。
汗~
phpMyAdmin-2.8.0.4.zip
phpMyAdmin-2.8.0.4.tar.bz2
phpMyAdmin-2.8.0.4.tar.gz
这三个我都下载了，里面全都没有config.inc.php。
我应该怎么办？

我的建议是, 也许你的 Windows Explorer 的 file extendsion 被隐藏了.
当你打开 Windows Explorer 时, 去 Tools -> Folder Option -> Hide Extendsion -> uncheck 它.
这样的话, 你应该看的到, 再不然... 就 search 那 phpmyadmin 的 folder 咯. |

我没有hide extensions的。
那三个我下载的phpmyadmin的folder我应经search了，就是没有。
所以我觉得很奇怪。
我下载很多version了。

其实myphpadmin有什么功用？
它的功能和Php Administrator有何不同？
