Anyone interest to try bukit larut ,taiping?

You can try. Taiping residents normally hike to Pondok 2, Pondok 3. If you want to hike to the peak, you can try jungle trail(until Pondok 3) then walk up the road to the peak. It'll take 4-6 hours to reach the peak.
