Further to the announcement made on 29 December 2015 and pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(23) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of Golden Pharos Berhad ("GPB" or "the Company") wishes to announce that Permint Plywood Sdn. Bhd. ("PPSB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Permint Timber Corporation Sdn. Bhd. which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company has on 28 January 2016 acquired 3 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each, representing 60% of the issued and paid-up share capital of GP Dynamic Venture Sdn. Bhd. ("GPDVSB" or "the joint venture company"), a joint venture company of PPSB and Cymao Plywood Sdn. Bhd. ("CPSB") from a non-related third party for a total cash consideration of RM3.00. GPDVSB was incorporated on 29 December 2015 and is currently dormant. The authorised share capital of GPDVSB is RM10,000,000.00 divided into 10,000,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each and the paid-up share capital is RM5.00 divided into 5 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each. The remaining 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each or 40% of the issued and paid-up share capital is held by CPSB. Upon the completion of the above acquisition of shares, GPDVSB shall become a subsidiary of the Company. This announcement is dated 28 January 2016.
