Working experience and occupation	Dato' Iskandar Mizal Bin Mahmood (Dato' Iskandar) has 29 years experience in a multitude of companies ranging from multinationals to Government companies and spanning from investment banking to technology sectors at all levels from hands-on operations to leadership. Dato' Iskandar started his career with an international audit firm Arthur Andersen & Co in 1989. He moved into merchant and investment banking serving Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad and Commerce International Merchant Bankers Berhad (now known as CIMB Group). He joined Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) in 1999 to undertake the Initial Public Offering and Listing of MAHB on Bursa Malaysia and assumed other responsibilities such as Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning, Business Development and Investor Relations. In 2003, Ministry of Finance Malaysia and Khazanah Nasional Berhad appointed him to helm the leadership of Malaysian Technology Development Corporation Sdn Bhd. He was later appointed in 2005 to helm the leadership of Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation Sdn Bhd, one of the Government of Malaysia's key technology initiatives at that time. Dato' Iskandar then ventured into the private education sector in 2011 by partnering with Manipal Education Global of India to set up Manipal International University in Malaysia. He also served as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Pos Malaysia Berhad in 2013 before taking on the role of Managing Partner and Director of a renowned local consulting firm, Ethos Consulting. He is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer of Granatum Ventures Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned company of Khazanah Nasional Berhad. Dato' Iskandar also serves as a member of Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) Investment Panel since 1 November 2016.

Further to the announcement on 2 April 2018, the Company would like to clarify that its carrying value of investment in Taha Alam Sdn Bhd (“Taha Alam”) was RM14,624.00, based on the 50% share of the unaudited net asset value of Taha Alam of RM29,248.00 as at 31 December 2017.  Taha Alam has been incurring losses since its inception and based on the value and future prospect of Taha Alam, the disposal is in the best interest of the Company as the continued holding of Taha Alam will only incur more management and administration costs to the Company. He was re-designated to Senior General Manager in Theta in 2003 focusing on main project implementation, in all government agencies amongst others SPEKS, SAGA and ANGKASA.He was re-designated as the Chief Operating Officer on 30 September 2010.

We refer to the Article appearing in the Starbizweek dated 29 June 2019 entitled “DNeX entering new phase” and in particular the paragraph “It is understood that Silverlake’s offer entails a full buyout and general offer but the Theta Edge board has since turned down the offer”. The Board of Theta wishes to clarify that it is not privy to matter stated above and has not deliberated nor decided on such matter. Decisions relating to any proposals or bids pertaining to equity stake in Theta are decided at shareholder’s level and not at Theta. The Board wishes to also state that The Star did not clarify the above facts with Theta prior to the issuance of the above article. The Company will make the necessary announcement should a formal notification be received. This announcement is dated 2 July 2019.
