The Company wishes to inform that the Group had started manufacturing of reusable fabric face mask (“mask”) since March 2020. The manufacturing of mask provides a perfect complement to the existing core business in the manufacturing of apparels. At the same time the Group could leverage on optimising existing production facilities and resources efficiently to generate a stable revenue stream for the Group. The Group’s ProX™ anti-virus technology which inactivates bacteria and viruses, including >99% SARS-CoV-2 had been tested locally and internationally.
As mentioned in the Company’s 4th quarter interim report for the financial year ended 31 July 2020, the manufacturing of mask had cushioned the decline in revenue arising from delay in delivery of apparel orders due to the Movement Control Order in Malaysia. It had contributed to 33% of the Group’s total revenue.
The Company is cautiously optimistic that this will contribute positively to the Group’s revenue for the financial year ending 31 July 2021 as the demand of reusable fabric face mask is expected to increase as wearing a mask has become the new norm.
Nevertheless, the Group shall continue to enhance and improve the research and development, production and sale of the reusable fabric face masks and other related products in the forthcoming year. This is also part of the Group's Corporate Social Responsibility initiative as the reusable masks enhance public safety and is environmental friendly.

FUND RAISING | Description | TECHBASE INDUSTRIES BERHAD (FORMERLY KNOWN AS PROLEXUS BERHAD) ("TIB'' OR THE ''COMPANY'')RIGHTS ISSUE | For consistency purposes, the abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement are the same as those previously defined in the abridged prospectus dated 4 March 2024 in relation to the Rights Issue ("Abridged Prospectus").
We refer to the Company’s announcement dated 10 August 2023 and its subsequent announcements in relation to the Rights Issue as well as the Abridged Prospectus.
On behalf of the Board, KAF IB wishes to announce that as at 5.00 p.m. on 20 March 2024, being the closing date of the acceptance, Excess Application and payment for the Rights ICULS, the Company had received valid acceptances and Excess Applications for a total of 780,342,595 Rights ICULS, representing a subscription rate of 56.56% over the total number of Rights ICULS available for subscription under the Rights Issue, resulting in an under-subscription rate of 43.44%.
The details of such valid acceptances and Excess Applications received are as follows:-

In view that the Rights ICULS have not been fully subscribed for, the Board has decided to allot the Rights ICULS to all Entitled Shareholders and/or their renouncee(s)/transferee(s) (if applicable) who have applied for the Excess Rights ICULS.
The Rights ICULS are expected to be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 5 April 2024.
