Malaysia PMP training is USD 649.00 = RM2000++

值得念吗 ？ 念了之后 ， 可以调升到 Project Manager ?

本人念 IT ， 不想一辈子写 PROGRAM

如果是公司赞助你拿,就读。
不然的话读itil 也不错。
pmp要经常参与他们的课程才能拿那些分数(PDU)来维持你的qualification...
而且PMP不是要读就读的。 要有特定条件。 比如说project  management 经验的时间等。。。
PMP RequirementsTo apply for the PMP, you need to have either:

• A four-year degree (bachelor’s or the global equivalent) and at least three years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education.
  
  OR
• A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent) with at least five years of project management experience, with 7,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education.
  
  
  capm 就不用这么麻烦..
  
  

CAPM Requirements
To apply for the CAPM, you need to have:

• A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent)
  
  AND
• At least 1,500 hours experience
  

        OR

其实我比较有兴趣知道，为什么或者什么trigger你去读pmp?

我在几年前也是一直想读pmp。甚至想借loan去读。

但是经过了解后，觉得不是很适合。

我本身可以说是有涉及到系统的project management的，因为之前帮忙经理从requirement做到implementation甚至维护系统。接触到pmp后，以为可以读了可以更加涉及到project management相关的工作。

在某次机会，公司给了一个pmp的short course.（只是有几十个pdu那种，不用考试的）。拿了那个cert后，去见了几次project management exec甚至是project manager的工。然后interviewer看了，只是＂哦＂了一声。也不觉得他们特别看重pmp相关的资格。

在外国，拿pmp可以涉及相当多的行业。比如建筑，电脑系统，银行。

在马乃，注重pmp的多数是银行。而且也很少工作说特定要pmp的（不欣你去jobstreet看看）。就算请project manager也不一定要pmp.我认识的几个project manager也没有pmp的资格，但也很成功。

我不是阻止你去考取pmp。不过由于课程很贵，又很多特定条件。所以劝你考虑清楚，别走和我一样的冤枉路。

我的叔叔叫我有钱就 去拿 PMP COURSE 来念 ( 他也是 PM ) 。

虽然我现在工钱 可圈可点 ， 但是想跟上一层楼

去年去考了，差那十分，所以玩蛋了，我考的时候美金500++，兑换也是最底的时候。。。
虽然考不到，但学了好多东西，我自己读的，没去上课。。
而且考到也不必开心，每三年要给钱更新。。。更新过程也不容易，更新费又贵，我是报考后才知道。。。
现在除非公司叫考，不然倒不如去考个management degree 更有保障。。。之少是终身的。。。

那张CERT也不容易考，别小看了。。。它里面的道理是西方的，有时候很难认同，所以很难通过。。
除非你一路在国际公司做，习惯他们的作风，不然其实很多project manager也是failed了。。
尤其在讲人情事故的china pek 公司。。。
