（吉隆坡3日讯）沙布拉能源（Sapura Energy Bhd）为工程与建设业务取得5项新合约，总计7亿6600万令吉。
根据今日向大马交易所的报备，第一项合约是子公司Sapura Offshore私人有限公司获得汶莱蚬壳的PRP7油管更换项目，预计将于截至2022年4月30日止2022年首季完成。
Sapura Offshore还连同财团伙伴Dredging International Asia Pacific获得第二项合约，为蚬壳东方石油在新加坡的单浮筒系泊（SBM）管道修复二期项目提供工程、采购、建设与安装。该合约预计将于2023财年第三季完成。
国内方面，Sapura Offshore获Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia B.V.颁发泛马岸外运输和安装配套（2017至2020年）的一揽子合约，该合约将于2021财年第四季完成。
Sapura Offshore还从Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company私人有限公司（CPOC）获得另一项合约，为马泰联合发展区（MTJDA）的Additional Andalas管道第四期项目提供工程、采购、建设与安装服务。
沙能源指出，该合约自2020年4月30日起生效，将在15个月内完成。
此外，沙能源通过子公司Sapura Energy（泰国）有限公司，攫取Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production Ltd（CTEP）在泰国的岸外资产弃置活动，在截至明年1月杪财年内拆除7个海上导管架、湿拖等。
沙能源今日跌0.5仙或4.76%，收于10仙，市值报16亿令吉。

Type | Announcement | Subject | OTHERS | Description | DISCOVERY IN TOUTOUWAI EXPLORATION WELL IN NEW ZEALAND | Sapura Energy Berhad (“Sapura Energy” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that its associate company, SapuraOMV Upstream Sdn. Bhd. (“SapuraOMV”) together with Joint Venture partners Mitsui Exploration and Production Australia Pty Ltd (“Mitsui E&P Australia”) and OMV New Zealand Limited (“OMV NZ”) have made a discovery with a positive result in the Toutouwai-1 exploration well in the Taranaki Basin, in New Zealand. The prospect is located 50 kilometres off the Taranaki coast in 130 metres of water.
The preliminary results are encouraging with several hydrocarbon charged layers encountered in the Cretaceous sandstones. Currently, SapuraOMV is working with the Toutouwai Joint Venture partners, Mitsui E&P Australia and OMV NZ, on the additional work required to determine the well’s commercial viability.
SapuraOMV is a strategic partnership between Sapura Energy and OMV Aktiengesellschaft.

Details of each of these contracts (“Contracts”) are as summarised below:
Brunei CONTRACT FOR PRP7 PIPELINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT FROM BRUNEI SHELL PETROLEUM CO. SDN BHD Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd has been awarded with a contract for PRP7 Pipeline Replacement Project by Brunei Shell Petroleum Co. Sdn Bhd. The contract scope of work comprises of the base scope of replacement of 16” x 9.4km pipeline PID1494 including topside modification, riser and pipeline demolition, as well as optional scope of replacement of 6” x 1.0km pipeline PID2008 including topside modification, riser and pipeline demolition. The works are expected to be completed by Q1 FY2022.
Singapore CONTRACT FOR THE ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT, CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION FOR THE SBM PIPELINE REJUVENATION PHASE II PROJECT BY SHELL EASTERN PETROLEUM (PTE) LTD Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd Singapore Branch has been awarded together with its consortium partner Dredging International Asia Pacific, the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation contract for the Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) Pipeline Rejuvenation Phase II Project by Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd. The contract scope of work comprises a pre-emptive repair of the nearshore pipeline section, rejuvenate the SBM system and optional removal of existing pipeline to ensure fitness for service of the crude offloading system to Bukom Refinery at Singapore. The works are expected to be completed by Q3 FY2023.
Thailand CONTRACT FOR ASSET RETIREMENT OFFSHORE REMOVAL CAMPAIGN FROM CHEVRON THAILAND EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION, LTD Sapura Energy (Thailand) Limited has received an award for the provision of project management, engineering, procurement, offshore heavy lifting vessel and transportation spread to execute the work for Asset Retirement Offshore Removal Campaign (“Contract”) in Thailand from Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. The Contract scope of work comprises of project management, engineering, procurement, offshore heavy lifting vessel and transportation spread to decommission seven offshore jackets, wet tow and reef jacket at reef site. The offshore campaign is expected to commence within FY2021.
Malaysia CONTRACT FOR PAN MALAYSIA TRANSPORTATION & INSTALLATION OF OFFSHORE FACILITIES BY HESS E&P MALAYSIA Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd has received an award for Pan Malaysia Transportation & Installation of Offshore Facilities from Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia B.V pursuant to the Umbrella Contract for the Pan Malaysia Transportation and Installation of Offshore Facilities (2017-2020). The contract scope of work comprises of the provision of project management, installation engineering, transportation and installation of the following at Bergading Central Processing Platform: - Gas Module and Support Frame
- Condensate Module and Support Frame
- Shutdown Valve Platform
The works are expected to be completed by Q4 FY2021.
Malaysia - Thailand CONTRACT FOR ADDITIONAL ANDALAS PIPELINE PROJECT PHASE 4 DEVELOPMENT FROM CARIGALI-PTTEPI OPERATING COMPANY SDN BHD Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd has received an award for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction and installation service for Additional Andalas Pipeline Project Phase 4 Development (“Contract”) in The Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area (MTJDA) from Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company Sdn Bhd. The Contract scope of work comprises of engineering, procurement, construction, installation and pre-commissioning of 20” x 29km subsea pipeline from ADB to JKA platforms, including riser and riser guard installation. The effective date of the Contract is 30th April 2020 and the works are scheduled to be completed within 15 months.
FINANCIAL EFFECTS The Contracts announced herein will have no effect on the issued capital of the Company and are expected to contribute positively towards the earnings of Sapura Energy and its subsidiaries (“the Group”) for the financial year ending 31 January 2021 and the financial period thereafter within the duration of the Contracts period.
RISK FACTORS Risk factors affecting the Contracts including execution risks such as availability of skilled manpower and materials, changes in pricing, weather conditions and/or political, economic and regulatory conditions. Notwithstanding, the Group has established a successful track record undertaking similar projects.
DIRECTORS’ AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS’ INTERESTS None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected with them have any direct or indirect interest in the award of the Contracts herein.

Details of each of these contracts/contract extensions (collectively referred to as “Contracts”) are as summarised below:
Engineering & Construction:
Mexico AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT, CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF AMOCA PLATFORM BY ENI MEXICO S. DE R. L. DE C.V. Sapura Energy Mexicana S.A.P.I. de C.V. has been awarded a contract for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation for the Eni Mexico S. de R. L. de C.V. Amoca Project – Offshore Block Area 1 in Mexico. The contract scope of work comprises the transportation and installation of Amoca Platform and the pipeline and subsea cable scope of work interconnecting the Amoca and Mizton platforms and Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO). The works are expected to be completed by Q4 FY2022.
Brazil EXTENSION OF CONTRACT FOR THE CHARTER AND OPERATIONS OF PIPE LAYING SUPPORT VESSEL “SAPURA ESMERALDA” FROM PETROLEO BRASILEIRO S.A. (“PETROBRAS”) Sapura Navegação Marítima S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seabras Sapura Participações S.A., a joint venture company between Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd and Seabras Serviços De Petroleo S.A., a subsidiary of Seadrill Limited, has been awarded with twelve (12) months extension for the charter and service contracts respectively by Petrobras in Brazil. The contract scope of work comprises the provision of services and charter for installation and recovery of flexible pipes, by utilizing Sapura Esmeralda in the Brazilian waters. Sapura Esmeralda shall perform all operations required for the installation of the flexible pipes, electric-hydraulic umbilical and power cables, new or used, such as loading, unloading, laying, connection between spans, vertical connection (first and second end) on submarine equipment, installation of submarine equipment and hydrostatic test, in a maximum water depth of 2500 meters. The existing contract is expected to complete by April 2021 and the twelve (12) months extension will commence immediately after the duration of the original contract of Sapura Esmeralda ends.
Drilling:
Ivory Coast AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR TENDER ASSIST DRILLING RIG “SAPURA BERANI” BY FOXTROT INTERNATIONAL LDC. Sapura Drilling Holdings Limited has been awarded a contract for the provision of its Tender Assist Drilling Rig “Sapura Berani” services by Foxtrot International LDC. The contract scope comprises the provision of semi tender-assist drilling rig services for 3 wells commencing in Q1 FY2022 for a period of 9 months offshore Ivory Coast plus one option of one well extension.
FINANCIAL EFFECTS The Contracts announced herein will have no effect on the issued capital of the Company and is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings of Sapura Energy Berhad and its subsidiaries (“the Group”) for the financial year ending 31 January 2021 and the financial period thereafter within the duration of the Contracts period.

Details of each contract (“Contracts”) are as summarised below:
Engineering & Construction: Qatar AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT, SUPPLY, CONSTRUCTION, INSTALLATION AND PRE-COMMISSIONING OF PIPELINES IN AL-KHALIJ FIELD FROM TOTAL E&P GOLFE LIMITED Sapura Fabrication Sdn Bhd - Qatar Branch has been awarded a contract for the provision of engineering, procurement, supply, construction, installation and pre-commissioning of 2 Nos 16” pipelines in Al-Khalij Field, Block 6 in Qatar by Total E&P Golfe Limited. The scope of work for this contract includes the engineering, procurement, supply, fabrication, construction, installation and pre-commissioning of 2 Nos 16” pipelines made of pipes lined with corrosion resistant alloy, between DP4 & DP3 and DP3 & DP2 platforms. The Al-Khalij field is located offshore Qatar approximately 110 km east of the mainland coast and approximately 40 km North East of Halul Island. The average water depth in the field is 59 m. The works are expected to be completed by Q2 FY2022.
Malaysia - Thailand AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT, CONSTRUCTION, TRANSPORTATION & INSTALLATION AND HOOK-UP & COMMISSIONING FOR ADDITIONAL ANDALAS PIPELINE PROJECT PHASE 4 DEVELOPMENT BY CARIGALI-PTTEPI OPERATING COMPANY SDN BHD Sapura Fabrication Sdn Bhd has received an award for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction, transportation and installation as well as hook up and commissioning of Host Tie-In And Brownfield Modification Work For Additional Andalas Pipeline Project For Phase 4 Development in the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area (MTJDA) from Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company Sdn Bhd. The contract scope of work comprises of engineering, procurement, onshore construction, transportation and marine spread chartering, as well as offshore hook up and commissioning of Host Tie-In and Brownfield Modification at Jengka-A Wellhead Platform, Andalas-B Wellhead Platform, and MUDA Central Processing Platforms. The works are expected to be completed by Q3 FY2022.
Drilling: Congo AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR TENDER ASSIST DRILLING RIG “SAPURA BERANI” BY TOTAL EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION CONGO. Sapura Drilling Holdings Limited, has been awarded a contract by Total Exploration and Production Congo for the provision of its Tender Assist Drilling Rig “Sapura Berani” services. The scope of the contract comprises the provision of semi tender-assist drilling rig services for 3 wells commencing in Q4 FY2021 for a period of 3 months offshore Congo plus one option of one well extension.
FINANCIAL EFFECTS The Contracts announced herein will have no effect on the issued capital of the Company and is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings of Sapura Energy Berhad and its subsidiaries (“the Group”) for the financial year ending 31 January 2021 and the financial period thereafter within the duration of the Contracts period.
RISK FACTORS Risk factors affecting the Contracts including execution risks such as availability of skilled manpower and materials, changes in pricing, weather conditions and/or political, economic, operational and commercial impacts of COVID-19 and regulatory conditions. Notwithstanding, the Group has established a successful track record undertaking similar projects.
DIRECTORS’ AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS’ INTERESTS None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected with them have any direct or indirect interest in the award of the Contracts herein.
DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT The Board is of the opinion that the acceptance of the Contracts is in the best interest of the Company.
