（吉隆坡13日讯）ASTRO公司（ASTRO,6399,主板电讯媒体组）次季业绩超越市场预测。分析员认为，该公司成本管理计划持续带来良好进展、旗下付费电视平台需求仍有增无减，未来盈利前景依然强稳，调高其财测及目标价。

多元平台加强赚利

MIDF研究看好ASTRO公司业务前景，因其成本管理计划持续带来正面进展，并通过多元平台加强赚利，成本架构改善将是推动盈利主要动力。

该行保持每股10仙股息预测，因盈利表现持续处于扬升趋势。

该行指出，ASTRO付费电视的平均客户营收（ARPU）达100令吉水平，主要通过其视频点播、互联网电视平台、及卫星电视服务平台等需求增加的支撑。同时它的宽频内容和明讯（MAXIS,6012,主板电讯媒体组）捆绑结合配套也是正面发展，可更有效地将服务产品传达给客户。

ASTRO公司2020财年首半年正常化净利3亿5240万令吉（按年增56.6%），超越MIDF研究及市场预测。该行将2020至2022财政年净利预测，分别上调7.8%、8.5%及5.9%，至6亿7580万、6亿8670万及6亿9600万令吉，以反映较低的成本假设。

艾芬黄氏研究指出，随着ASTRO公司交出比预测好的2020财政年首6个月业绩表现，占该行及市场全年预测的64%及63%，该行将其2020至2022财政年核心净利预测调高11%至13%，主要反映其较低的营运成本，特别是行销及员工相关开销。

虽然取得较好盈利表现，惟ASTRO公司宣布每股2仙中期股息，使它首半年每股股息为4仙，比前期的5仙较低，艾芬黄氏相信该公司要保留更多现金，以应付整体日益挑战的市场。若假设其股息派发率60%，预料2020财政年的每股股息将达8仙。

He focused on creating digital content experiences for Astro's customers via Gempak, Xuan, Ulagam, Zayan, Awani, Stadium Astro and was also responsible for the group's airtime sales. Henry believes in the potential of Malaysian movies and was instrumental in the success of The Journey, OlaBola, Hantu Kak Limah, Paskal, Abang Long Fadil and Polis Evo. Henry was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Mindshare Malaysia and GroupM (Malaysia and Singapore) and prior to that, he held the position of the Media Director, Ogilvy & Mather and General Manager, HVD Entertainment.

Description	ASTRO MALAYSIA HOLDINGS BERHAD ("AMH" or "COMPANY")EXTENSION OF THE AGREEMENT FOR THE SUPPLY OF TRANSPONDER CAPACITY DATED 18 JUNE 2007 ON MEASAT-3 SATELLITE ("TRANSACTION")
The Board of Directors of AMH (“Board”) wishes to announce that MEASAT Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd (“MBNS”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has on 13 December 2021 entered into an Amendment Agreement with MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn Bhd (“MSS”) involving, among other things, the extension of the Agreement for the Supply of Transponder Capacity on MEASAT-3 satellite dated 18 June 2007 between MBNS and MSS. Please refer to the attachment for the full announcement in relation to the above. This announcement is dated 13 December 2021.
