营运渐入佳境　Astro表现有望改善

（吉隆坡27日讯）儘管Astro大马（ASTRO，6399，主板电讯媒体股）的次季业绩表现不尽人意，并逊于市场预期，但分析员普遍相信，该公司的营运情况已渐入佳境，未来表现或逐渐改善。

Astro大马股价在低迷业绩的影响下，早盘开市即暴跌16仙或9.64%，至全天最低的1.50令吉，惟，隨后出现反弹，并在1.56令吉左右徘徊，最终以1.52令吉掛收，全天跌8.43%或14仙，成交量为9.7万股，同时该股也排在下跌榜中第13名。

Astro大马2019財政年次季（截至7月31日止）净利按年暴跌93.27%，至1658万令吉，营业额也按年微跌0.23%，至14亿1644万令吉。

次季业绩低迷

安联星展投行分析员表示，虽然Astro大马次季业绩表现疲弱，但一些营运数据却有了好转的跡象，如付费电视订阅用户人数增加。排除账面上的一次性外匯亏损后，该公司的次季核心净利为5400万令吉，按季萎缩69%，上半年表现仅占该投行全年预测的35%。

分析员指出，令吉匯率走软和世界盃播放版权费推高该公司次季的內容成本，至6亿零200万令吉。不过，该公司的营业额也按季走高8%，归功於较高的广告、订阅和执照收入。

电视订阅反弹

此外，Astro大马的用户数量也在次季增加了5万名，至560万名用户，占全马家庭约76%，每用户平均营收（ARPU）仍保持在约100令吉。

值得一提的是，该公司的电视订阅收入从2017年便开始节节败退，但次季是自去年以来首次反弹。

马银行投行分析员也指出，虽然Astro大马的次季表现並不理想，但未来表现有望逐渐改善，因为次季的订阅用户人数增加，以及每用户平均营收持稳。分析员补充，次季的560万名用户数量创下歷史新高纪录，意味消费者情绪已有好转跡象。

其它业务方面，Astro大马上半年的电台业务营业额按年减少10.9%，主要是因为广告收入萎缩，导致该业务的税前盈利走跌13.2%。不过，该公司的住家购物平台业务在上半年的表现颇有起色，营收按年激增33.8%，至1亿7700万令吉，亏损则从930万令吉，收窄至700万令吉。

展望未来，Astro大马尝试在今年杪前推出4K超高清频道，以改善用户体验。

此外，管理层预计，下半年的內容成本將比上半年来得低。隨著强制定价標准（MSAP）开跑，该公司將携手其他宽频业者推出互连网电视频道服务（IPTV），未来有望结合该公司现有的服务，推出更有吸引力的配套。

在8名分析员中，有5人维持该股的「守住」评级，3人维持「买进」评级，分析员普遍相信，虽然该公司的次季成本激增，但整体前景仍稳定。

（吉隆坡12日讯）由于国际足联（FIFA）世界杯赛的较低内容成本和营销及分销费用削减，ASTRO公司(ASTRO,6399,主板电讯媒体组)截至2019年7月31日次季净利按年飙涨921.39%至1亿6933万6000令吉，相比前期1657万9000令吉。

该公司上半年净利为3亿4553万2000令吉，相较前期1亿9130万8000令吉，暴增80.62%。

ASTRO公司次季营业额却按年下滑12.71%至12亿3638万2000令吉，前期为14亿1643万9000令吉；上半年累积营业额按年跌9.41%至24亿7078万4000令吉。

ASTRO公司建议派发2仙股息，除权日及享有日分别为9月27日和30日。

该公司通过文告指出，在全球内容、媒体和广告领域的结构更改以及盗版威胁等情况下，市场仍具挑战。

不过，ASTRO公司主席敦查基阿兹米表示，在竞争激烈的媒体格局下，他们继续保持较高的现金生产能力、成本规范和积极进行资本管理。

该公司首席执行员陈宝福表示，在优化节目成本和营运开销下，该公司税后盈利继续取得增长。

他指出，与此同时，他们也正在建立新的收入邻接基石，特别是与明讯(MAXIS,6012,主板电讯媒体组)合作的宽频和内容捆绑式配套，以及与爱奇艺和HBO亚洲的互联网电视（OTT）战略合作伙伴关系。

“我们将在未来几个月内将会建立更多合作伙伴关系。”

苹果TV+进场冲击不大

苹果TV+网络视频服务即将到来，但基于本地观众惯有的观看模式和文化下，分析员预料对ASTRO公司冲击不大，其股价回落后变得极具吸引力。

联昌研究指出，苹果TV+网络视频服务将在11月1日在全球上线，大马包含在内，订阅月费为19令吉90仙。

不过，联昌指出，初期只有9部原创作品，而本地官网亦未表明将与美国版一样提供视频点播（VOD）。

此外，该行认为，非法观看好莱坞节目对于各收入阶段的大马人可说是常态。

根据亚洲媒体伙伴（MPA）数据显示，2018年仅有1.5%的大马人直接订阅Netflix影视平台。

有鉴于此，联昌相信苹果TV+的进场并不会使本地传媒业发生翻天覆地的变化。

股价自今年顶峰回落18%
回酬率料提升至7.3%

另一方面，联昌指出，大部份大马人更倾向于本土内容节目，而ASTRO公司投入制作高品质本土节目，推动其过去几年增长，同时它也进军了串流媒体，重整视频点播服务。

联昌研究指出，ASTRO公司如今股价已从今年顶峰1令吉64仙回落18%，料将使其2019至2020年的回酬率预测提升至7.1至7.3%。

该行认为，对于付费电视相关性下降的担忧被过分夸大，毕竟截至2019年4月ASTRO公司仍拥有77%家庭普及率，是让其他国家的付费电视运营商艳羡不已的数字。

有鉴于此，该行维持对其目标价1令吉75仙和“买进”评级。
