UTAR 全國數學比賽 2010

Rules:

·         Open to all undergraduate students.

·         Online Registration at UTAR webpage.

·         Registration Fees:

Category A	: RM15.00
Category B	: RM10.00
Category A & B	: RM25.00
Category C	: RM24.00 (a group of 3 participants) Please send an email to nmc.utar@gmail.com with subject title "UTAR NMC 2010 - Group Registration" together with the group members' names.

·         Registration fees will be paid on the competition day.

·         Closing Date: 24 July 2010 or whenever registration exceeds total of 250 participants.

·         No calculator and no reference materials are allowed in.

·         Order of submission may be used for arbitration in ranking in the case of a tie in marks.

·         The judges' decision is final.

·         Registration requirements: registration slip and student ID card.

Competition format:

Category A	Category B
Total of 25 multiple choice questions	200 simple arithmetics
One hour duration	10 minutes duration
Competition will be conducted using computers	Competition will be conducted using computers

Category C

Stage 1 1. No limitation to the number of questions. 2. Forty five (45) minutes. (11.30 am - 12.15 pm) 3. Papers and pencils will be provided. (For calculation purpose) 4. The questions and the time allocated to answer the questions will be shown through a projector. 5. Participants are required to answer the questions within the stipulated time. 6. The answer sheet will be collected from the participant after the stipulated time. 7. The score varies with the difficulties of the question. 8. The team that answers the most questions correctly within the stipulated time will be declared as the winner. 9. Four teams with the best score will be selected for Stage 2.

Stage 2 1. No limitation to the number of questions. Any number of questions until the time runs out. 2. Thirty (30) minutes. (12.30 pm - 1.00 pm) 3. Papers and pencils will be provided. (For calculation purpose) 4. Two teams will be competing against each other. 5. Each team is given a turn to select the field and difficulties of the next question. (ie. Algebra, hardest) 6. The score varies with the difficulties of the question. 7. Two teams with the highest score will proceed to the Final.

Final 1. No limitation to the number of questions. Any number of questions until the time runs out. 2. Thirty (30) minutes. (1.15 pm - 1.45 pm) 3. Papers and pencils will be provided. (For calculation purpose) 4. Two teams will be competing against each other. 5. Each team is given a turn to select the field and difficulties of the next question. (ie. Algebra, hardest) 6. The score varies with the difficulties of the question. 7. The team with the highest score will be the champion for Category C

1) 是三人一組的賽制，要湊齊組員有點困難

不過如果你可以搭lrt到wangsa maju station，會有巴士接送
