关于MMU distance education的问题！

本人现在是alpha level想用 distance education来读 。（有原因的，什么原因就别提了！）
是不是只有转去diploma 才有 offer? 还要每个拜六要上cyber上课一天？
还有没有别的途径？我想知道多一点！请各位学长帮帮忙！

我刚刚报名了这个distance education，课程设定4年读完，是part time studies来的。
介绍我的centre of distance education的rasidah（Assistant Manager）说可以3年内完成，也可以用高达8年的时间完成。
类似open university的concept，每一科的科目上课一天而已。
一科2assignment，50%from assignment，50%from exam。
还不错的说，total cost around RM18-19k++
跟Wawasan Open University差不多一样。。
今天是last day for application。

wou可以透过网上交assignment，可是mmu不能。

GUIDELINES FOR CREDIT TRANSFER

• The students must complete successfully a diploma of at least two years full time duration (post SPM or equivalent) the appropriate field of management.  The students must have completed and obtained the award of Diploma OR
• The students who have undergone or are undergoing other undergraduate degree level courses approved by the respective Dean as equivalent to MMU undergraduate degree programmes.
• The syllabus of the subject offered for credit transfer must cover at least 70% syllabus of the corresponding subject at MMU.
• The grade obtained for the subject offered for ct. transfer shall be equivalent to at least MMU grade B.
• The following subjects will not be considered for ct.  transfer :

• All Major subjects
• All Core Subjects for Bachelor of E-Commerce (Hons)
• Foreign Language Part 1 & 2
• Research Methodology
• Co-curriculum
• Managerial Communication (except for DIA,DBA (MMU) students)
• Introduction to Cyberpreneurship (except for DIA, DBA & DIC, DIT,DEC (MMU) students)
• All Pure Accounting subjects for Bachelor of Accounting (Hons)

• A maximum of 40 ct. hours may be granted for ct. transfer.
• A committee appointed by the Dean will conduct the vetting exercise for ct. transfer.
• Interviews will be conducted to evaluate the capabilities of the students (if necessary).

    就是每个semester都需要还学费，一个semester有大约6个月的时间，then fee around RM2K，我觉得还好啦。

我不大清楚究竟那一间u好点，自己看着办吧！

我的letter of acceptance到手了，before orientation 3-6-2010前，要付RM550。。。

    我也是二十四岁。这个PARTIME没有的申请ptptn的。如果我自己在外面申请可以吗？？

    借银行的education loan吧！可是利息很高下，用blr的方式算的。。
还是有想过换学校吗？wawasan open university，那间confirm有的借。
其实我也很矛盾下的，我喜欢mmu的四年，可是不喜欢他的credit transfer制度，因为要重读蛮多科下的。。。
wou的就syllabus类似70%就可waive掉了。。。烦。。。。
一个4年、一个5年，你选哪一间？？

已经做了个决定，明天或在3/6/2010前给RM550报名成为学生
虽然我用4年来读，起码我出来还有那张文凭。
我已经比别人慢了，再拖下去，不知要拖到什么时候了

   mmu的文凭是比较好吗？因为听别人说wou的只是我国政府承认而已，如果你去到别的国家或者新加坡是不被承认的是吗？？

    听说是这个说法咯！不过不知道文凭有提及distance education这个字眼吗？
如果有，也就是说没有分别，本地还好，出国就不受承认的。因为类似open u的cert
不过mmu怎样说名气都会比wou来的好，现在mmu的学费便宜过wou了。
你可以看看credit hours的calculation，你就明白为何我说比较便宜。

根据mmu distance education说他们一个trimester是允许学生申请5个subject，也就是说：
虽然你看他们的structure是4年读完的，可是如果一个trimester申请5个subject可以用3年读完。
要以最长的8年完成也行，他们是以这样的方式和我说的。

University College所颁发的自家cert也是那样，虽然本地政府承认，出国是不被受承认的。

为什么你会选择MMU,而不是WOU？
WOU外国受承认的哦。。。
