A man called Maha own afarm which can produce 10 apples every day. He has 5 workers to operatethe farm. Each of them eats 1 apple daily and it is enough to keep themoperating the farm normally. The remaining 4 apples, the landlord sellthem at RM10 each and he earn RM40. He uses RM25 to improve the farmoperation and facilities. He gives RM2 to each of his worker and hekeep the remaining RM5 as profit. Day by day the farm is well developedand all of the 5 workers are happy with the money they can save.

WhenMaha passed away and the new landlord, Abdul comes to continue the farmoperation. He say to his workers: "We need to improve our farm andredefine our way of thinking. From now on all of you only need topayRM1 for each apple you eat. It is very cheap as the price is RM10each outside the farm." The worker have no choice but have to payRM1.00 for the apple they eat daily. Their earning decrease from RM2 toRM1 per person. As usual, Abdul sell all the 4 apples and he get RM40.He use RM25 for farm improvement and RM10 to his 5 workers. He get RM5as profit. On top of that, he get another RM5 profit from the applesthat he sell to his workers. In total, he get RM10 as profit every day.

Soon, the apple price increase to RM20 each. Thenew landlord get higher profit as he gets RM80 for the 4 apples he selldaily. Then he decide to give the farming improvement contract to oneof his close friend, Samy. Samy says: "Apple cost naik, improvementcost also mesti naik." So, the farm improvement cost increase from RM25to RM50. In actual, the improvement only cost RM30. The remaining RM20,Abdul and Samy share evenly among themselves.

Let's calculate how much Abdul gets daily:
RM10 (from farm improvement cost, RM50 - RM30 and divide by 2 person, Abdul and Samy)
RM20 (RM80 profit after selling apples - RM50 farm improvement cost - RM10 salary for 5 workers)
RM5 (for selling apple to his 5 workers)

Intotal, Abdul get RM35 daily compare to RM10 initially when he takesover the farm from Maha. His profit increase RM25 and the worker arestill getting RM1 daily per person.

The greedyAbdul do not want to stop here. One day, he say to his fellow workers:"You see ah, the current market price for 1 apple is RM20 and you areonly paying RM1. See how lucky you are compare with others! I have tosubsidy RM19.00 for each of the apple you buy and total I need tosubsidy RM95. This will greaty burden the farm and we might getbankgrupt if we continue like this. In order to avoid bankruptcy, Ineed to increase the apple price that you buy from RM1 to RM1.50 and Iwill bare the remaining RM18.50 per apple as my subsidy to you all." Sogreedy Abdul adds RM2.50 to his current profit and the number becomesRM37.50.

After you read the story, I am sure youhave already understand the meaning of "SUBSIDY" given by the"GOVERMENT". The RM95 subsidy was never existed in the first place andso was the RM52 billion fuel subsidy generously given by the goverment.Cutting fuel subsidy is actually just a reason to steal money from yourpocket.

贪心的 阿杜拉不想在这里停下来。一天，他对他的工人说：“你看清啊， 1 个苹果的现有市场价格是 RM20 和你们只是在支付 RM1。明白你们是怎样的幸运！我必须为每个苹果补助RM19.00。总共我需要付的补助金是RM95。这对于农场的负担太大了，如果我们像这样继续下去我们可能会倒闭。为了避免倒闭，我需要增加你们买苹果的价钱，从RM1增加到RM1.50。 剩下的 RM18.50 就当是我对你们的补助了。”  就这样，贪心的 阿杜拉把 RM2.50 加到他的当前利润， 总利润成为了 RM37.50。


读完了故事以后，我肯定你已理解所谓政府 “补助金” 的意思。 首先， RM95 补助金其实是完全不存在的，RM52billion 的燃料补助金也是。 删除燃料补助金事实上仅仅是从你的口袋偷钱的理由。
