古代以色列和阿拉伯的佛教?

在佛陀时代有一位阿拉汉,PUNNA尊者,曾经要求佛陀允许他到印度的西北地区,中亚地区传法.PUNNA尊者是否有把佛法传去中亚?

佛入灭后的四至五百年形成的大乘佛教传进了中国,是否也一样的传进以色列和阿拉伯等中亚地区?佛教完全在中亚地区消失? 若没有佛教以什么形势存在?

In the time of King Voharika-tissa (214 - 236) there appeared yet another new school of Buddhist thought known as Vaitulyavada (Vailpulya, Vidantavada, Vetullavada) which were considered heretical by the king's advisers such as the Minister of Justice Kapila. The king's intervention in the doctrinal dispute between the Mahavihara (大山寺/上座部)and the Abhayagiri Vihara(无畏寺), which accepted the new Mahayanist ideas, resulted in the Vaitulya books being burnt and the Vaitulyavadins being disgraced. The Vaitulya has been described as the "bodhisattva-pitaka菩萨藏?" and their books extol Mahayana gods and goddesses.

King Gothabhaya (253 - 266 AC.) who was a supporter of the Mahavihara eyed the activities of the Vaitulyavadins of the Abhayagiri Vihara just as Voharika-tissa did. But before he took action against them there was another sect at the Abhayagiri called the Sagaliyas who held heterodox views, who feared the repetition of sanctions against the Vaitulyavadins, and who left the Abhayagiri Vihara and took up residence in the Dhakkhinagiri Vihara not far from Sigiriya. A couple of decades later the Sagaliyas opposed the Mahavihara. Gothabhaya burnt the Vaitulya books and banished to India 60 Vaitulya monks.

Mahakala也可以指印度教的Shiva

the Eternal Father in his highest Heaven 'Sukkavati' with millions of angels (or Bodhisattvas) headed by Michael and Gabriel (Mahakala and Avalokita in Mahayana Buddhism).

The shrines and temples built by pre-Islamic Arab kings and later appropriated by Mohammed and his followers were exact replicas of the architectural types of Buddhist monuments with domical super-structures. The Buddhist stupa or dagaba in India, Sri Lanka, and other early Buddhist kingdoms proved this fact. Even today every mosque has this domical roof resembling a Buddhist stupa.

犹太人还是不认同一个也是犹太人创立的基度教.

你竟然忘记很帅气的ORTHODOX CHURCH。。。
他们的CATHEDRAL是被BYZANTINE影响的，我觉得ISLAM也是吧。。。所以，他们的CATHEDRAL都是圆顶的。。。有空去KL 的ISLAMIC ART GALLERY 看下。。。 回教艺术很优美的。。。
