| | Contents | : | We refer to the announcement dated 1 April 2008.
We wish to announce that the extension of time which was granted by the SC on 31 March 2008 to comply with the condition that, inter alia, MBC must obtain the approvals from the relevant authorities for the structures such as the office, store, guardhouse, inspection workshop, maintenance and improvement workshop erected on the property owned by MBC group known as P.T. 64241, Mukim Kelang, Daerah Kelang, Selangor (“Property”), vide its letter dated 23 September 2003 (“SC Condition”), expires today.
We had, on MBC’s behalf, submitted an application to SC on 6 March 2009 to seek concurrence from SC that the SC Condition is no longer applicable to MBC in view that Indah Island Depot Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of MBC), being the previous operator of container depot management on the Property, is currently under creditors’ voluntary winding-up and the intention of the owner of the Property, ie Awanapuri Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of MBC), to dispose off the Property.
Such application is still pending SC’s decision as at today.
