The Edifier R2000DB is a premium set of powered speakers that delivers the goods in every regard. They look attractive, they sound great and they have a really useful set of features. Their size may be too big for some people, and they don’t have the thumping bass of the Aego³, but they come highly recommended for music and all-round sound quality.
Overall I was impressed with their unique design and their quality sound and If these where placed all over the house ie having a few sets you would have some set up going on with a different look that sticks out from the norm. If you want to make them shine some more you can get additional stands which attach underneath they can be placed almost anywhere..
Every aspect of the R1850DB has been designed with purpose, the base has been angled at 10 degrees to accurately direct sound to you, and the wooden housing reduces distortion and minimizes acoustic resonance.
When i released the video of the Edifier W855BT Headphones I've gotten two comments asking me to review the Edifier W830BT headphones since its way cheaper in price. So how does it stand against all its competitors available especially with its super affordable price range?
When the speaker sounds as good as it looks you know you've achieved greatness. And this is why Edifier must have decided to improve on the originals. The addition of the optical connection is welcome, and a few tweaks to the sound have improved the package overall. Just as enjoyable as the originals and well worth their £149.99 RRP.
