(15-10-2009) With just a few days in rotation, Michael Jackson's "This Is It" has rocketed up the R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart to make a significant debut at number 43.
Released Sunday, "This Is It" becomes the late King of Pop's first entry on the R&B/Hip Hop songs chart since 2004 and according to Billboard, is ironically Jackson's 50th entry on the chart.
Trumping debuts from Snoop Dogg and R. Kelly, Jackson's single earned significant airplay and attention at radio and online after its debut early Monday morning.
While the song is currently unavailable as a single, it will appear on a forthcoming double disc set for release later this month.
