这个你需要去问Mr. Daniel，他的手机号码是012 2989109。他是SHU south east asia Regional Office的负责人，你明天早上赶快打去问，假如可以的话，明天3点以前，带你全部应该带的documents还有copies，千万不要漏掉任何东西噢，上网online application要印出来，还要填appendix 8，还有student survey。其他的documents有自己的birth cert, current and past passports, unconditional offer letter, visa letter（要找Daniel拿新的）, advance diploma transcript(问daniel四个semester的result slip可以用吗？）, personal account on ur own name(印第一面个人资料还有后面你的最新的存款update），跟银行拿的最新的statement或letter（有letter head和真人签名的）。

没关系，那你拿diploma的transcript，advance diploma四个学期的result slip。报生纸不必翻译，passbook我有交上去，你有statement(有letter head和签名)就ok了，就不需要letter吧。你的account放了多少钱，最好要超过他们的limit。你的appendix 8有什么问题呢？ |

但她一直强调申请visa不需要transcript.. 什么十年来都是这样bla bla
但我不知道以前的和现在的rules有没有不一样。。毕竟新的rules 今年三月才出
我也希望没有不同。。因为如果daniel 下拜二前还没有回复我，我就会submit without transcript 了

Dear applicant
Manyof you have contacted Mr Daniel Chi in our Representative Office toseek further advice about visas, particularly the Student Visitor visa,and health check requirements. The University's Immigration AdviceTeam have provided us with the following advice to assist you. Pleaseremember to read our general advice on what kind of visa to apply forat http://www.shu.ac.uk/tarc/visa.html.
Student Visitor visas for the Summer Honours Degree Programme
TheStudent Visitor route is the best option for you if you do not intendto go on and study at Master's level after the Summer Degree Programme,or if there will be a break in your studies before you start a Master'scourse (for those who will not start Master's courses untilJanuary/February 2010). However you cannot work while here as a StudentVisitor and you are not eligible to apply for the Post Study Work (PSW)visa upon completion of the course, extend your visa, or switch into adifferent visa category.
The Student Visitor stamp can beobtained on arrival in the UK. The evidence required is your visaletter and/or unconditional offer letter, and evidence of tuition feeand maintenance costs, plus documentary evidence on the level of thequalification you have obtained prior to making the application.
However, if you have already applied for a General Student visa and been refused, we would advise you to either:
* re-apply for the General Student Visa (if you intend to study atMaster's level from September or apply for PSW upon completion)
* apply for a Student Visitor visa (if you only intend to complete theSummer Honours Degree Programme) before you set off for the UK. Thiswill avoid any delays at immigration at the airport. The form requiredis the VAF 1D which can be found at : http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/docs/1903073/VAF1D and this will cost RM365.
Do I need a medical?
Dueto the standard of health care in Malaysia the visa office do notinsist on a formal medical check before an entry clearance is issued.However, Paragraph 36 of the UK Immigration Rules states that onarrival in the UK any person who intends to remain for more than 6months should normally be referred to the Port Medical Inspector for amedical examination (queues can be long). Additionally, an EntryClearance Officer has discretion to refer any other person for anexamination if necessary.
If you intend to stay more than 6months you may therefore wish to have a medical check-up shortly beforeyou travel and carry the examination results and a chest X-ray with you.

其它在考试的也要加油。。。
这里我再重申多一次：为什么申请student visa？
1。念master 。为了能在英国继续念master ，而不需要回马来西亚。只要在英国extend visa。
2。PSW。有student visa 才能符合资格申请PSW- PSW是一个可以在英国工作2年的工作签证，不需要有雇主就能申请的工作签证。
还有一个消息是给之前受过SHU student academic & services department 恩惠的同学：
Margeret 今天正式退休了，之后将会在shu 做part time而已。
