虽然我逃过megan这一难，不过真的很可怜各位，以为最多是债务重组或折股，根本没想象到结局会那么残忍的，现在最怕那位被捧为救星的印度大哥也是受害者之一。

Megan faces debt woes

PETALING JAYA: Megan Media Holdings Bhd was told by Bursa Malaysia to suspend trading in its shares following a default in debt repayments of RM47.3mil, said a company official.

The company's two subsidiaries, Memory Tech Sdn Bhd and Singapore-based MJC (S) Pte Ltd, were unable to pay their creditors, mainly bondholders, due to the strapped cashflow as a result of mounting trade receivables.

MJC was last month sued by its creditor The Bank of East Asia (BEA) for a claim totalling S$3.04mil (RM6.7mil) over banking facilities granted by BEA.

Megan Media's shares were suspended from trading yesterday until further notice.

The stock was last traded at 31.5 sen. The share price has fallen 31 sen, or nearly 50%, since the beginning of the year amid concerns on the optimal disk maker's financial health.

In its latest statement, Megan Media said it was still solvent.

The company said it would be able to pay all its debts in full within a period not exceeding 12 months from May 4 if it managed to complete its debt restructuring during the said period.

A company official told StarBiz Megan Media had hired a consulting firm, Sage 3 Capital Sdn Bhd, to advise on the debt restructuring exercise. The consultant started work about three weeks ago.

According to the company's balance sheet as at Jan 31, its borrowing totalled RM888mil. Its receivables grew to RM430.3mil from RM319mil a year ago – an unhealthy sign of slow payments by its customers.

Its cashflow statement showed a negative net cash of RM57.9mil generated from operating activities.

However, Megan Media remained profitable.

For the nine months ended Jan 31, it recorded higher net profit of RM39.2mil against RM36.7mil in the previous corresponding period.

Revenue rose to RM774.6mil from RM712mil. Earnings per share came in at 19.27 sen compared with 17.96 sen.

The company's substantial shareholder and founder George Yeo Wee Siong sold down his stake to 1.97% in February from 11.2% in August last year before Megan Media's financial problem surfaced.

Yeo and his brother Wee Kon, who was also a substantial shareholder of Megan Media three years ago, also founded MJC.

The floppy disk manufacturing company was injected into Megan Media in 2004 for RM97.2mil.

子公司淨資產值相差4.5億
媒岸控股掀假賬疑雲

（吉隆坡訊）馬股又出現另一“假賬疑雲”，這回是媒岸控股（MEGAN,7101），其子公司Memory科技疑涉舞弊，導致資產出現4億5600萬令吉的巨大差額。

同時，媒岸控股涉及虧損的另一家子公司MJC（新加坡）私人有限公司，也被債權銀行要求委任普華古柏的署名代表為臨時接管人，以調查賬目。


股價今年至今猛跌50%的媒岸控股，從週三（6日）起暫停交易，直至另行通知為止。該股停牌前報31.5仙。

媒岸控股發表文告說，債權銀行要求該公司委任的會計師Ferrier Hodgson MH，在週三發布第一份調查報告，指出子公司Memory科技私人有限公司的賬目出現“舞弊”。

Ferrier Hodgson MH披露，Memory科技可能虛構貿易債權人與債務人，以誇大採購與銷售款額，再透過銀行貸款融資貿易債權人的虛構付款，最後再利用其他公司的現金，顯示貿易債務人的付款。

Ferrier Hodgson MH表示，Memory科技為13條生產線繳付的2億1100萬令吉訂金，也可能是虛構的項目。此外，Memory科技也可能涉及其他項目的虛構或舞弊。

Ferrier Hodgson MH指出，經過調查後，Memory科技的實際淨資產值相差4億5600萬令吉。而且，該公司一批5億8500萬令吉的固定資產也有待查證。

Ferrier Hodgson MH將繼續展開調查，最後報告料在6至8週內公布。 （星洲日報/財經•2007.06.07）

真夠吃力了，2個不中用的儿子偷拿錢，最後被人捉到了，母親看了都不敢看了，之後母親不管這2個儿子的生死，改嫁他人了。(megan就這樣結局了)。

megan是否從此玩完了嗎?子公司2間全出問題，算來算去，少算了這2個儿子的問題，最後只要等結果了。

看大股東是誰中搶了，原因假帐如果是真的，那就要去捉人了。現在如果在馬來西亞的megan是沒有做假帐的話，那還是有點希望，但是如果連馬來西亞的megan也出問題的話，那megan只好收盤了。
現在是在看這二間子公司要如何處理了，做假帐和偽造文件是犯法的，可能會坐牢的。

我倒不覺得，這幾星期的成交重點，都是在第二和三格大量賣盤，如果有人知道的話，早就大量推上而出票了，現在megan唯一的希望，也是在megan是否也相子公司出現了問題，以單單來講，也就是唯有等待消息了。
