Cambodian Public Bank Opens its Eighth Branch in Chbar Ampov
|
| Cambodian Public Bank (Campu Bank) is pleased to announce the opening of its eighth branch in Cambodia which will be known as the Chbar Ampov Branch.
The Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, His Excellency Chea Chanto officiated the opening of the branch today. Present at the official opening ceremony were Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Teh Hong Piow, Founder and Chairman of Public Bank, Malaysia- cum- President and Managing Director of Campu Bank and other dignitaries including H.E. Kuoch Chamroen and H.E. Eang Siphan, the Governor and Deputy Governor of the District, as well as the top management staff from its parent company Public Bank, Malaysia.
The new branch located at 586-587 A&B, National Road No. 1, Sangkat Chbar Ampov II, Khan Meng Chey, Phnom Penh is headed by Ms. Suon Sok Gech as its Branch Manager and supported by a team of experienced staff.
H.E. Chea Chanto, in his official opening of the branch remarked that Campu Bank’s presence in Chbar Ampov will provide new jobs, new financial products and new technology to the Cambodian people. He also acknowledged that Campu Bank is an important development partner of the Royal Cambodian Government and has contributed in building the public’s confidence on the banking system of Cambodia.
In his welcoming speech, Tan Sri Teh said, “Campu Bank has been recording profit since its first year of operations and as at 31 December 2006 it returned a net profit before tax of USD14.6 million. Today, Campu Bank is the second-largest lender in Cambodia and operates seven branches in the country, two of which are in Phnom Penh. The opening of its eighth branch today represents another step forward for the Bank as it further brings banking services to the doorsteps of the Cambodian public.”
Tan Sri Teh further mentioned “The opening of our new branch today is also testimony of the continued strong growth of the Cambodian economy. The Government’s nation-building efforts have certainly provided a conducive environment for investment opportunities and expansion of the financial services industry, thus stimulating economic growth. Campu Bank is certainly privileged to be able to contribute constructively to the economic development of the country, and looks forward to continuing the same in the years ahead.”
The Chbar Ampov branch will offer customers the same broad range of products and services as Campu Bank’s existing branches.

回顾:
net profit before tax at 31 December 2006:
MSIA大众: RM24亿
COMBODIA大众: RM5千万 (2% OF LOCAL PBB)....
= RM5千万 / 7间分行 / 12个月 = RM59万 ( 每间分行的每月NET PROFIT B4TAX ...)
香港深圳: RM ?? (无花或大米姐可以回答... )
结论:
看来大众未来10-20年还会继续茁壮成长.....
