（吉隆坡）LCL企業（LCL,7177,主板貿服組）子公司――LCL傢俱及LCL貿易，接獲大馬銀行的追討信，以攤還289萬6241令吉貸款和透支。

LCL企業發文告表示，旗下的LCL傢俱從去年12月8日迄今，總共接獲4家銀行的貸款追討信，涉及的貸款額逾達1億1458萬令吉，包括艾芬銀行、回教銀行、蘇格蘭皇家銀行及最新的大馬銀行追討232萬2992令吉。
LCL貿易被大馬銀行追討約57萬3000令吉。

LCL says US-based theme contractor potential investor
KUALA LUMPUR: LCL CORPORATION BHD [], whose fortunes have been battered following its over exposure to the Dubai property market, has identified US-based KHS&S as a potential investor to regularise its financial condition.

LCL, an interior out-fit company, said KHS&S is one of the leading theme contractors in the US and has built major theme parks in the world. They include Disney Land, Disney World, Universal Studio, Red Rock Casino, Sea World and the Las Vegas MGM Casino.

"LCL will discuss, deliberate and outline the regularisation plan with the representatives from KHS&S on the details of LCL’s regularisation plan. LCL will make the necessary announcements to Bursa Securities accordingly in due course," it said on Friday, Jan 29.

It said KHS&S has expanded to the Middle East, China and Eastern Asia. It has 11 major offices in the USA and its regional offices include Macau, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Singapore. KHS&S had completed over 3,000 projects worldwide and their profile can be found at www.khss.com

Meanwhile, LCL also said its subsidiary, Authentique Gallery (M) Sdn Bhd, had on Jan 29 received notices of demand from Messrs Iza Ng Yeoh & Kit on behalf of PUBLIC BANK BHD [] for arrears amounting to RM1 million.

LCL's subsidiary LCL Furniture Sdn Bhd is also in arrears amounting to RM114.58 million owing to Affin Bank Bhd, Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd, The Royal Bank of Scotland Bhd and AmBank (M) Bhd.

The Board of Directors of LCL wishes to announce that the Company had submitted an application to CDRC on 10 February 2010 for assistance to mediate between LCL and its financial creditors. CDRC had via its letter dated 3 March 2010 accepted LCL’s application.

In LCL’s application, the Company proposes to restructure its total debt to financial creditors amounting to approximately RM400 million. CDRC has allowed LCL a period of six (6) months from 3 March 2010 to complete the Proposed Debt Restructuring Scheme.

The Company will make an announcement to Bursa Securities once the Proposed Debt Restructuring Scheme is finalised with the financial creditors and CDRC.

The Board of Directors of LCL wishes to inform Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) that the Company has on 8 March 2010 entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) with Axis Global Capital Sdn Bhd (Company No. 884451-U) (“AGC”) for both parties to enter into discussions and negotiations for the restructuring of LCL via a corporate exercise to be determined later.

Information on AGC:

AGC and its group of companies (“Axis Identity Group”) are involved in:
- Interior design and fit-out services
- Corporate and brand identity consultancy services
- Interior design consultancy services
- Interior project solutions and construction management services
- Property development

It is one of the largest interior design practices in Malaysia servicing various industries from corporate, retail, commercial and government organisations.

The Axis Identity Group is currently actively pursuing projects in the South East Asia region, Middle East namely Qatar and Kuwait as well as property development in Papua New Guinea. Their profile can be viewed at www.axisidentity.com.

簽備忘錄擬重組
（吉隆坡8日訊）LCL機構（LCL，7177，主要板貿易）覓得新投資者，並已簽署備忘錄協議（MOA），冀儘快重組財務狀況。
該公司向馬證交所報備，已與本地Axis全球資本私人有限公司（簡稱AGC）簽署備忘錄協議，將在稍后宣佈重組計劃。

AGC和旗下公司專門為企業進行室內設計和品牌重塑，以及發展房地產等，近期積極在東南亞和西亞地區競標合約項目。

文告中指出，LCL機構將在限期內，向馬證交所報備計劃進展。

稍早前，LCL機構亦曾覓獲白武士，即來自美國的知名建築商KHS&S，惟洽談無新進展，財務重組計劃無疾而終。
