Picsel are pleased to announce that version 1.5 of Picsel Smart Office is now available for Symbian v5 devices from the Ovi Store. This release has taken much longer than we would have liked, and we do apologise for this. In this release we have fixed a key-entry bug involving certain characters that some customers were experiencing, and added the following features:
- Editing can now be done inline, without having to select a piece of text.
- Loading and saving can be done to any documents you have on a Dropbox account.
- It is now possible to load very large pdf documents. Instead of loading the entire document, just the small section around the current position is loaded in at any time.
- There is a much greater support of many more languages, including Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
- The Symbian version now has an addition line-feed key available.
Also there are many extra smaller features and bug fixes included. We hope you will all enjoy the new version of the application, and we apologise again for the delays in getting this version to you, but we were keen to make sure it was functioning well.
