（吉隆坡5日讯）兴发资源（HHGROUP,0175,创业板工业产品服务组）宣布以20万令吉现金，以收购椰子纤维登嘉楼有限公司的97%股权，以成为大马最大的椰子纤维丝产品厂商。

成马最大椰子纤维丝产品厂商该公司文告指出，该公司通过独资子公司——兴发工业控股有限公司，以20万令吉现金向卖主许振福收购椰子纤维登嘉楼有限公司97%股权，后者涉及制造及贸易椰子生物质原料及加值产品。这将加强公司旗下的生物质业务，使其工厂更容易获取大量原料及降低运输成本。这项收购计划料在6个月内完成。

该公司董事经理方春盛在文告中指出，上述收购将使公司的成长进入更高步伐，并进一步加强它在区域生物质市场的地位。该公司预测，一旦完成收购后，该公司将成为大马椰子纤维丝产品市场最大单一领导者，占市场份额的80%。

他指出，公司新购的椰子纤维登嘉楼有限公司在登嘉楼实兆工业区拥有一间制造厂，每月椰子纤维丝产能达150公吨，以及240公吨的椰糠。

他表示，长期而言，若是东海岸铁路建峻，公司将会把产品直接运送到巴生港口供出口用途。截至2018年12月31日为止，椰子纤维登嘉楼有限公司净亏及净负债为72万8839令吉。

Description	Announcement by the Board of Directors of Heng Huat Resources Group Berhad ("Heng Huat" or "the Company")
We refer to the announcement dated 21 January 2020 made by ATTA Global Group Berhad (“ATTA”) in relation to the suspension of trading. The Board of Directors of Heng Huat (“Board”) wishes to notify that our Executive Chairman Ooi Chieng Sim, who is also the Executive Chairman of ATTA has been remanded by the Polis Diraja Malaysia (“PDRM”) to assist in the investigations currently being conducted by PDRM. As per ATTA’s announcement, the Executive Chairman is assisting in the investigations for matters relating to the incident happened in ATTA investigated under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and not for matters relating to Heng Huat. As per the same announcement, it was noted that the Executive Chairman’s personal banking accounts and CDS accounts were frozen. Save for our Independent Non-Executive Ng Chin Nam’s personal banking accounts and trading account and  the bankers’ acceptance facility accounts totalling RM3.7m of the two non-major wholly-owned subsidiaries namely HK Gua Musang Sdn Bhd and HK Kitaran Sdn Bhd, none of the Heng Huat group and Directors’ banking accounts, CDS accounts and assets were frozen. The freezing of the facility account by the Bank who provides the facility is due to the Bank’s internal policy in view of the trading suspension of Heng Huat. We do not expect the remand to have any material financial or operational or management impact on the Company as the Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director and Executive Directors of the Company will continue business as usual with daily operations and management of the Heng Huat Group. The Board of Directors will accordingly make further announcement on any further material development to the investigation that they have been made aware of. In 2001, he left Acer Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd and joined Agilent Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd as a Financial Analyst. In 2002, he left Agilent Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd and joined Lorry Commercial Logistic Sdn Bhd as an Accountant until 2003. Between 2003 and 2006, he was a Partner in Maxwell Business Management and Consultancy, which specializes in tax consultancy, business planning consultancy and auditing services. He left Maxwell Business Management and Consultancy in 2006 to venture into his own business of property development and recycling of waste material. In 2012, he joined our Company as an Executive Director and is responsible for overseeing our Groups accounting, finance and corporate exercise activities.
