Due to the shutting down of the U.S. government over a budget battle, President Barack Obama was forced to pare back and then cancel altogether planned visits to four Southeast Asian nations. The first two casualties were planned trips to two nations, Malaysia and the Philippines, where Obama hoped to cement economic and trade relations under the umbrella of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. With no end in sight to the U.S. government's paralysis, Obama reluctantly canceled his planned attendance at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Bali, Indonesia and the East Asia Summit in Brunei.

Although Obama always enjoys visiting Indonesia, the country of his childhood, it was the cancellation of Obama's planned trip to the oil-rich Sultanate of Brunei that not only prevented Obama from being hosted by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, one of the world's wealthiest men, but prevented him from cementing ties with a nation that enjoys a special relationship with the United States, particularly the Department of Defense and the Central Intelligence Agency... Brunei's Sultan was to provide Obama and his staff with the entire palace of the Crown Prince for the duration of his visit.                                          

Ever since its independence from Britain in 1984, Brunei has served as a virtual cash cow for covert and overt U.S. operations, from covertly supporting the Nicaraguan contras during the Reagan administration and contributing to the CIA-linked Bosnia Defense Fund in the 1990s, to pumping tons of cash into Bill Clinton's Foundation and Library in Little Rock, Arkansas. When he decided he had to cancel his attendance at the East Asia summit, Obama personally informed Brunei's Sultan of his decision.

The cancellation of Obama's visit was bittersweet for Brunei. Brunei timed the presidential visit to the Sultanate with the delivery to Royal Brunei Airlines of the Brunei's first Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Brunei, of course, realizes that Boeing is headquartered in Obama's hometown of Chicago and the $290 million price tag for the long-haul aircraft was sure to get Obama's attention and gratitude.

Brunei has always had an interest in garnering the affection of American presidents. It was more than willing to step up and help provide $10 million to President Ronald Reagan's main money bagmen, Oliver North and Elliott Abrams, for the Nicaraguan contras. Unfortunately, North provided the Bruneians with the wrong bank account number for a CIA front company called Lake Resources in Geneva and the money ended up in the wrong Swiss bank account.

A month before Brunei became independent, the CIA issued a December 1983 SECRET report on the oil-rich sultanate, titled «Brunei: A New and Well-Heeled Ministate.» [emphasis added]. The CIA obviously saw Brunei as a «well-heeled» country, in other words, a subservient vassal state, which Langley could rely on for the most important element for executing covert activities in Asia and beyond -- cash and lots of it. The CIA analysis of Brunei as an important cash source came during the same time that Barack Obama was working at the CIA's front company in Manhattan, Business International Corporation.

Brunei was no stranger to Obama's grandmother «Toot,» Madelyn Dunham, whose Bank of Hawaii handled much of Brunei's secret cash transactions involving the U.S. government. Honolulu's CIA front, Bishop, Baldwin, Rewald, Dillingham & Wong (BBRDW), provided confidential investment services to the government of Brunei before the firm collapsed in the months prior to Brunei's independence.

The U.S. already had a military relationship with Brunei through Britain. Brunei was the location of the British Army's only jungle warfare training facilities, to which U.S., Australian, and New Zealand troops had full access during the Vietnam War. Britain's Gurkha troops in Brunei also rotated to serve in then-British ruled Hong Kong. Singapore also used Bruneian training facilities for training its troops and the training was kept very low key in order that Malaysia's suspicions about Singapore's intentions were never aroused.

The CIA had maintained an interest in the security of Brunei ever since 1962, when a rebellion, aimed at overthrowing the Sultan, aimed to establish a North Borneo people's republic incorporating Brunei, Sabah, and Sarawak. After the 1962, the Sultan ruled Brunei with an iron hand and political parties remain banned in the sultanate.

The CIA feared that after independence, Bruneian Muslim students studying in Britain would return to Brunei with the intent of challenging the Sultan and demanding an Islamic state. The Sultan trumped any such development by declaring upon independence in 1984 that Brunei was a Malay Muslim Monarchy, a status that continues to dominate Brunei's political scene. Troubled relations with Malaysia, which had hoped to incorporate Brunei into the Federation of Malaysia, were smoothed over when the CIA arranged personal liaison between Brunei's royal family and those of the Malaysian sultanates that made up the federation.

Royal Dutch Shell is prevalent in Brunei because of its long-held monopoly over Brunei's oil production. Local oil workers joke that the Bruneian flag sports the same yellow and red colors as the flag of Shell Oil. The CIA-connected Bechtel construction firm has also been a major fixture in Brunei, having built much of Shell's infrastructure in the country. The Bank of America and Citigroup also had major operations in Brunei before and after independence.

The 1983 CIA report stated that Brunei, upon independence, was already so pro-Western the country was undecided on whether to join the Islamic Conference because it did not want to get involved in Arab politics or the Arab-Israeli dispute.

In December 1983, the CIA foresaw the United States playing an increased role in Bruneian affairs. Bruneian officials had been approached for many years by U.S. diplomats and CIA personnel attached to the U.S. embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. But it was access to Bruneian cash and military bases that excited the CIA first and foremost. The December 1983 CIA's SECRET report on Brunei states:

«Underscoring Brunei's interest in strengthening ties with the United States was its decision last August to shift the management of investment funds totaling $5 billion from British to US banks (Citibank and Morgan Guaranty). The Bruneians have also shown an interest in US security assistance programs, and an early request after independence is anticipated. Like Singapore, Brunei would be prepared to pay cash for equipment and training, according to the US Embassy. It apparently hopes to capitalize on its location along air routes and sea lanes between US bases in the Philippines and facilities in Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. Brunei has some of the world's best jungle warfare training facilities and modern 2,500-meter runway near the capital city (Bandar Seri Begawan), which it may envisage as a refueling stop for US military flights. In view of Brunei's outgoing attitude toward the United States, Bruneian-US relations after independence should get off to an amicable start.»

Given Brunei's importance to the CIA, Obama's cancellation of his trip to Brunei was obviously as disappointing as the cancellation of his trip to Indonesia, the country where his mother, Ann Dunham Soetoro, was working with the post-CIA coup regime of General Suharto to make Indonesia Communist-free. Nevertheless, Brunei, always an important ally of the United States, will continue to serve as an important cog in Obama's anti-Chinese geo-political strategy known as America's «pivot to Asia».

Was Pope Benedict fired by the Knights of Malta?

On other occasions, Satan – through one of his secret societies
infesting the Vatican – slips the Pontiff one of those patented papal poisons.
But Popes do not resign because they’re getting old.

Noted Catholic scholar Michael Jones, editor of Culture Wars magazine,
could not contain himself when, in the lobby of Tehran’s Parsian Hotel,
he was confronted with the news. “But…but that’s unprecedented!” Jones shouted.
So…why did Pope Benedict XVI REALLY step down?
Dr. Robert Moynihan, editor of Inside the Vatican magazine, is no conspiracy theorist.
He’s THE quasi-official Vatican-embedded journalist and commentator.
So when Moynihan let slip a soupçon of skepticism about the “resigned due to old age” story, my ears pricked up and my hair stood on end. Moynihan points out in his latest journalistic encyclical that the Pope sure didn’t look like he needed to resign for health reasons:  “I saw the Pope twice this week, once at a concert (on Monday evening, where I was sitting about 20 yards away from him) and at his General Audience on Wednesday. For a man of 85, he looked well, though he did seem tired.”
Why, pray tell, did he “seem tired”? What, precisely, was weighing on his infallible mind?
Moynihan takes a guess:
On Saturday, I intended (sic) a funeral Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica for a cardinal who died last week (Cardinal Giovanni Cheli). Pope Benedict was scheduled to attend, but at the very last minute, he canceled his attendance. This was an indication to me already Saturday evening that he was unusually tired (he had spent several hours that monring (sic) with the Order of the Knights of Malta). Normally he would have been present at a cardinal’s funeral.
Monihan’s typo “monring” (“my ring”) is suggestive. The Pope’s office is symbolized by the Ring of the Fisherman, which is ceremonially transferred when the papacy changes hands. Wikipedia, the Zionist authority on everything, explains:
During the ceremony of a Papal Coronation or Papal Inauguration, the Dean of the College of Cardinals slips the ring on the third finger of the new Pope’s right hand. Upon a papal death, the ring was ceremonially broken in the presence of other cardinals by the Camerlengo, in order to prevent the sealing of backdated, forged documents during the interregnum, or sede vacante.
What a scurrilous bunch those papal hangers-on must be!
Moynihan’s Freudian slip occurs in the middle of the sentence:
This was an indication to me already Saturday evening that he was unusually tired (he had spent several hours that monring (sic) with the Order of the Knights of Malta).
So THAT’S what was weighing so heavily on Pope Benedict: Spending several hours that morning with the Knights of Malta. The meeting exhausted him. So he resigned.
Somehow I don’t think it was just the exhaustion.
What did the Knights of Malta tell the Pope that caused His Holiness to take the “unprecedented” step of stepping down?
Was it a simple “you’re fired”?
The Knights of Malta are one of the most feared and whispered-about secret societies in the world. Originally a gang of fanatical crusaders dedicated to perpetrating genocide in the Holy Land, the Knights apparently have not changed very much – at least if you believe Seymour Hersh. He says the Knights of Malta are a key part of “how eight or nine neoconservatives, radicals if you will, overthrew the American government.” (Hersh is too polite to mention that they did it by way of the 9/11 inside job.)
Seymour Hersh explains:
“[The] attitude (toward the Iraq invasion) was, ‘What’s this? What are they all worried about, the politicians and the press, they’re all worried about some looting?” Hersh was quoted as saying. “Don’t they get it? We’re gonna change mosques into cathedrals. And when we get all the oil, nobody’s gonna give a damn.’ That’s the attitude. We’re gonna change mosques into cathedrals. That’s an attitude that pervades, I’m here to say, a large percentage of the Joint Special Operations Command [JSOC].”
Hersh further claimed that Gen. Stanley McChrystal, Vice Admiral William McRaven and others in the JSOC were members of the “Knights of Malta” and “Opus Dei,” two little known Catholic orders.
“They do see what they’re doing — and this is not an atypical attitude among some military — it’s a crusade, literally,” Hersh reportedly continued. “They see themselves as the protectors of the Christians. They’re protecting them from the Muslims [as in] the 13th century. And this is their function.”
He added that members of these societies have developed a secret set of insignias that represent “the whole notion that this is a culture war” between religions.

Reading Hersh between the lines, it appears that the Knights of Malta – a radical secret society penetrated by Freemasonic agents – helped bring us 9/11 and the 9/11 wars. Have they forced Pope Benedict to resign…or at least caused him so much worry (about what future plans?!) that Benedict felt he had to flee the Vatican rather than shoulder responsibility for whatever is coming?
Are the Knights of Malta and their Israeli friends about to ramp up the clash of civilizations? Are they going to nuke an American city and blame it on Iran? Are they planning some other dastardly act that Benedict couldn’t stomach?
Or could the Pope’s resignation have been caused by some other intrigue involving the Knights of Malta?
At this point, we just don’t know. The choice of the next pope may reveal the hidden agenda.
Here’s the hot rumor going around Italy, passed to me by journalist Roberto Quaglia: Pope Benedict was fired in order to pave the way for a new Pope who will sanction homosexual marriage, non-celibate priests, and other projects aimed at sexualizing and de-sacralizing the Church. According to this analysis, the judeo-freemasonic secret societies responsible for Vatican II have been pushing Benedict to allow gay marriage and a sex-lovin’ priesthood – but Benedict’s eternal response is “not on my watch!” So, goeth the rumor, they ended Benedict’s watch.
My Muslim friends here in Tehran have a different story: They suspect that the Pope resigned because the Church is about to be blown to smithereens when the 2nd-century Gospel of Barnabas is made public. My most knowledgeable informant on this matter, a certain Professor Ben Isa, claims to know from a trusted source, a Turkish parliamentarian, that a copy of the Gospel of Barnabas, currently under armed guard in a special room of the Turkish capitol in Ankara, has been carbon-dated and certified as arguably the oldest extant Gospel.
The copy of Barnabas in the Turkish capitol, Dr. Ben Isa adds, appears to be identical – word for word – with the other copies, which Western scholars have tried to dismiss as Muslim forgeries.
Now it looks like the “Muslim forgery” predates the canonical gospels!
Barnabas’s Gospel, already known from much later copies,
reveals that early Christianity was much closer to today’s Islam than to today’s Christianity.
Like the Qur’an, it is unitarian. Like the Qur’an, it suggests that Jesus was not actually crucified.
And in anticipation of the Qur’an, it predicts the coming of the Prophet Muhammad.
The import of the new Barnabas is staggering. In a nutshell:

Will the Turkish government soon be announcing this news to the world? Rumor has it that powerful forces are trying to persuade the Turks, through threats and bribes, to relinquish Barnabas. If they do, it will probably disappear into the deepest sub-basement of the Vatican.

Did the Pope resign in order to avoid having to captain the ship of Christianity after it hits the iceberg named Barnabas?

那么我们一般百姓可以做些什么来避免呢？买黄金收藏也不是好办法，黄金今年来都在贬值。

国家破产，是近期最流行的口头谈。
在国家破产的疑问里面，有三项重题值得我们探讨。
1。国家为什么会破产？
2，国家破产后会怎样？
3。国家破产后我们要如何面对？
第一，
国家破产不是神话，更不是流言蜚语。国家就像一间公司，只要经营不当都有倒闭的风险。国家的收入来至国家资源，举债和税务等等，而国家的支出就是打理整个国家的费用，比如，公务员的薪水，交通设备，学校，医院，等等。当支出跟收入不符合时候，这个国家就开始面对债务危机也就是所谓的国家赤字，只要继续有收入国家就不会破产，而为了增加收入，政府通常会提高税务，GST就是增加国家收入的最好管道之一。当支出严重超越收入到不能再负荷支出，这个国家就面临破产。公司破产是个人的问题而国家破产却是每个大马人民的问题，最赌篮的是国家破产后，治理不当的领导人不需要付上任何的责任，但因他们贪污腐败和管理不当下累计的债务却要我们来承担。

第二，
国家破产后，整个国家次序会进入短暂的动荡，政权肯定会面对交替，新的领导人上台收拾前朝政府留下的债务。国家制度应该会从新规划。
新的领导人要面对收入的瓶颈，所以通常会大量举债来平衡支出。而大量举债就会面对调高利率的伤害，通货膨胀等等。根据国家破产后复苏的数据，只要国家不违约，通常三年时间内就会开始复苏，国家又开始恢复正常的轨道。但条件是国家不能面对阿拉拍之春的动荡和必须是有能力和清廉的领导人。

第三，也是我们最关心的一环。
国家破产后，新的政府肯定会从新规划制度，全世界会从新估计这个国家，国际信誉非常底，外资会在外观望。因为国际信誉低在加上庞大的债务，国家货币肯定被贬值，所以放在银行的资产钱财肯定贬值或者是面对被冻结和限制条款。为了防止钱被贬值，通常大家会购买黄金保值，但由于黄金价格容易被操控，所以我不觉得是一项很好的保值管道，这几年大马地产非常澎湃，其中一个原因是大家都害怕钱被贬值所以买不动产来保值。以上两项都是时下最流行的保值管道。我的保值法是选择购买外汇，减低债务，只要在国家破产后HOLD的住，将来肯定会东山再起，新的市场，新的制度，最重要的是新的政府。

以上都是我个人的看法，希望能为大家解答一些疑问。

如你所说，你的保值方法是通过外汇，所谓外汇是否就是说通过国家货币之间的中间起落差异来赚钱呢？听说都是持有美金？
假如不懂得操控外汇，是否可以简单一点的到money changer换美金来保存呢？

小新政府的经济转型已经看到效果，最重要的是他们的政府知道自己的长处和短处。大马和小新越离越远，已经不像八，九十年代时的关系。
至于人民币，中国政府可以轻易操控，所以我对人民币不感兴趣。

       玫瑰石顧問公司董事、經濟學家謝國忠預測，一旦Fed被迫收緊政策，這一輪全球性經濟泡沫便將會在2014年破滅。

　　他在最新發表的研究報告中指出，美國互聯網股票的瘋狂投機讓人彷彿重回2000年時的泡沫時代。

　　臉書(facebook)本益比超過100倍，亞馬遜超過1000倍，AOL和雅虎在上一次互聯網泡沫中都沒這麽高。當然，一些聰明的分析師總能為高估值找到依據。當然，在泡沫破滅前也沒人能確定其是否存在。

謝國忠預測，一旦美國聯準會(Fed)被迫收緊政策，這一輪泡沫便將會在2014年破滅。

　　他表示，Fed的QE政策首先會讓新興市場的通脹提高，而美國國內受創的金融體系延緩了貨幣的流動和泡沫的出現。在新興市場中，在流動性泛濫的情況下房地產通常會第一個“膨脹”，迅速提升的房價和租賃收益的快速下滑無疑是泡沫的一大信號。從孟買到北京，泡沫已經根深蒂固。

　　但這次比較有意思的是，由Fed政策所引發的新興市場房地產泡沫又重新回到了美國。

　　來自中國、俄羅斯和其他新興經濟體的買家推高了倫敦和曼哈頓中心城區的房價，使當地的房屋租賃收益更接近新興市場的大城市，而不是英國和美國的其他地區。

　　熱錢並未消失在新興市場中，而是通過官方的外匯儲備或尋求更高回報率的私人投資流回美國的金融系統。當熱錢剛開始浮現的時候，前一種方式佔據主導地位，這令美國的債券收益率下滑，而當泡沫穩定下來，房地產的收益率和實際利率下降，私人投資者也重回美國市場尋求高收益，這將推高了美國風險資產的價格，例如房地產、股票和債券。

他認為，Fed的QE政策可能刺激了新興經濟體，這反過來令美國經濟受益。這主要就是一個泡沫現象。當泡沫破滅的時候，全球經濟再度淪陷，留下一堆附帶損失，例如不良貸款。
