马熔锡5000万买地厂

（吉隆坡15日讯）马熔锡机构（MSC，5916，主板工业产品股）以5000万令吉收购巴生港口工业地及厂房机械。

该公司向马交所报备，独资子公司M Smelt（C）私人有限公司今日和Metal Reclamation（工业）有限公司签署两项有条件协议。

该公司先是以3250万令吉，购入雪州巴生港口西港英达岛工业园的3块租赁地契工业地，再以1750万令吉收购厂房和机械。

马熔锡机构指出，座落于工业园的土地与厂房，和西港和伦敦金属交易所（LME）仓库有良好的连接，提供公司执行商业计划的最佳时机。

由于新厂房配备先进的生产技术，备有更完善和效率的生产设施，估计能迎合公司长远的商业计划。【e南洋】

马熔锡次季亏损收窄

（吉隆坡10日讯）由于采矿和冶炼业务获利走高，马熔锡机构（MSC，5916，主板工业产品股）截至6月杪次季，净亏收窄至1028万4000令吉，或每股净亏10.3仙，上财年同期则净亏1490万7000令吉。

首季营业额则按年涨15.04%至3亿9627万9000令吉，高于上财年同季的3亿4447万1000令吉。

累积上半年，马熔锡转亏为盈，净赚1465万2000令吉或每股净利14.7仙，上财年同期则为净亏1779万5000令吉；半年营业额则扬10.82%至8亿468万令吉。

马熔锡指出，次季采矿和冶炼业务取得较高的净利，归功于营业额走高、锡价上扬和外汇兑换获利。

不过，这出色的盈利表现被旗下联号公司和联营公司的偏高亏损所抵消。【e南洋】

马熔锡Q3净利跌15%

（吉隆坡4日讯）由于营业额和锡存货估值减少，马熔锡机构（MSC，5916，主板工业产品股）截至9月30日第三季，净利按年下跌15.29%，报1729万9000令吉或每股净利17.30仙。

同时，营业额也按年降低15.29%，录得3亿2312万5000令吉，理由是原料较上财年同季低，导致炼锡产量减少。

不过，该公司向马交所报备，累计9个月，马熔锡机构净利按年暴涨11.16倍，达3195万1000令吉；营业额则变化不大，报11亿2780万5000令吉。

该公司董事部认为，虽然锡价有所改善，但因全球原产品和资源领域波动，市场情况依然充满挑战。

马熔锡机构向马交所报备指，现年64岁的莫哈末雅谷，是在英国完成学业后，于1975年加入Associated Mines，并开始他的职业生涯。

他也曾在印尼的钻石业，及吉尔吉斯坦的採金业工作。

2002年，莫哈末雅谷加入马熔锡机构，并担任该机构新收购子公司PT Koba Tin的采矿部经理，直至2005年。

他在2006年，担任马熔锡机构另一家子公司——Rahman Hydraulic采矿（RHT）私人有限公司的总经理。

马熔锡机构首季净利跌30%

（吉隆坡9日讯）受累于较高的净外汇损失，马熔锡机构（Malaysia Smelting Corp Bhd）首季净利按年下跌30%。

马熔锡今日向大马交易所报备，截至3月杪首季净利为1743万令吉，或17.4仙，上财年同期则为2494万令吉，或每股24.9仙。

首季营业额由4亿840万令吉，略跌至4亿661万令吉。

该集团表示，国际锡冶炼业务的税前盈利从同期的2638万令吉，挫至541万令吉，归咎于产量低、净外汇损失高，以及没有库存价值调整的利好因素。

与此同时，首季锡价上升，锡矿业务的税前盈利由622万令吉，增长超过一倍至1472万令吉。

该集团说，首季平均锡价扬31%至每吨2万37美元，相比同期的1万5305美元。Rahman Hydraulic Tin是该季度净利最大贡献来源。

联号和联营公司的贡献由35万令吉，跌至25万令吉。

“首季表现受到锡价利好的支撑，希望这将得以持续。但是，我们将继续采取必要措施，减轻锡价波动的风险。”

马熔锡总执行长Datuk Patrick Yong在文告表示；“我们继续寻求新的创新方式来保持竞争力，如提升冶炼技术至顶吹浸没喷枪技术（TSL）炉，这将提高我们的营运和成本效益，长远有利于集团业务。”
