NYSE:ACN – Accenture Stock Drops at $.01 – Computer Error?  Accenture, a popular management consulting firm most recently known in the media as the first major sponsor to drop Tiger Woods has experienced an atrocity – their stock dropped to $.01.  Yes, you read that right, .01

At the close of the business day, Accenture stock was already back up to $41.09.

The collapse of the stock took place when it’s presumed that a simple trading error wiped out 10% of the value of the Dow Jones Industrial Average.  A trader placing a trade on Procter & Gamble is said to have traded 10 billion shares instead of 10 million.  After the situation was rectified, the DJI made a comeback and at the end of the day was down a little under 350 points.

Initially, it was thought that the debt crisis in Greece spawned the stock market collapse.  Greece is in debt and is going to have severe difficulties paying back debt and interest due on government bonds.

Given the riots in Athens, and the knowledge that America has a lot of debt too and that some financial analysts think that i a couple of years we will be in the same boat, many thought that people were spooked and sold off their stock.

Man, I wish I would have seen Accenture at $.01 and sold it at $41!

六只被“剃光头”的美股

xelon Corp.是世界规模和影响力最大的公用事业公司之一，一般市值在300亿美元左右，周四一度被股市认为一文不值。

这天下午出现的“闪电崩盘”中，数只股票报出离谱的价格，想来应该是出了错。Exelon是这几只股票中的一只。

另外一只股票是波士顿啤酒公司(Boston Beer Company)，“Samuel Adams”啤酒的出品商。该股开盘报59.44美元，在“闪电崩盘”期间跌至零，后收于55.82美元。

不只是波士顿啤酒和Exelon。下面几家公司也经历了华尔街史上最极端的振荡：

埃森哲(Accenture)

咨询公司，开盘报41.94美元，下午2点50分左右跌至零，后收于41.09美元。

公用事业公司，开盘报43.35美元，盘中跌至零，后收于41.86美元。

Nasdaq OMX Group Inc issued the names of hundreds of stocks for which it is canceling trades following Thursday's sudden stock market plunge.

Soon after 2:30 p.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell nearly 1,000 points in its largest ever intraday points drop, which may have involved a trading error.

U.S. stock indices plunged by an average 9 percent in the last two hours of trading before clawing back some of the losses.

Nasdaq OMX said it would cancel trades with price deviations of more than 60 percent between 2:40 p.m. and 3 p.m. from their 2:40 p.m. levels, and the New York Stock Exchange said it would similarly cancel trades on its all-electronic NYSE Arca platform that deviated over 60 percent from their last print at 2:40 p.m. between 2:40 and 3 p.m.

Nasdaq said its decision was made in conjunction with other exchanges and said it could not be appealed.

你拿着多少?本钱是多少....别怕啦...MPEL收市价还算OK啦...$3.82...跌不多啦..这两天的震荡我帐面亏损起码万三四马币...整个组合亏损一上升至美金两万三了..看来短期内是不可能扯平了..没办法啦...高风险投资就是酱的...

空前機制7500億救歐元

歐盟財長敲定，連同IMF斥資7500億歐元，成立史上最龐大的救助機制，以穩定歐元、阻止債務危機擴散。

救助機制由三部分資金組成，其中4400億歐元將由歐元區16國提供，為期3年，600億歐由歐盟委員會籌集，即歐洲合共出資5000億歐元；此外，國際貨幣基金組織（IMF）將提供2500億歐元。

這套機制之目的，是維護整個歐元區的金融穩定。根據機制，如再有歐元區國家陷入債務危機，將可以申請獲得資金支持，所附加的條件，將參照IMF的規定，與希臘類似。

被視為有可能步希臘後塵的葡萄牙和西班牙，同時承諾在今明兩年大力削減赤字，並會在本月18日提交具體措施。

歐元國財長上周曾決定以1100億歐元救助希臘，但希臘債務危機不僅沒有得到緩解，反而呈現出蔓延的勢頭，引發歐洲乃至全球金融劇烈動盪，歐元對美元    跌至14個月來的新低，美股更一度出現近千點的離奇暴跌。

為了阻止債務危機蔓延，維護歐元區穩定，歐盟財長在布魯塞爾召開特別會議，商討更強力的救助機制。
