Root Abyss Event Notes
Dear Maplers,
The following events will be activated on 4th September 2013, 0900hrs (+8 GMT).
1. [System Event] 3000 Days Celebration (Event Date: 04/09/2013 0900hrs – 24/09/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Maple Administrator wishes to celebrate 3000 days of service with everyone by providing a simple event for the players, where they can obtain Golden Hammers and Safety Charms! This event will be separated into 3 parts as follows:
Part 1: [3000days event] Old Diary of Manji (Event Date: 04/09/2013 0900hrs – 11/09/2013 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Accept the quest “[3000days event] Old Diary of Manji” and collect 1000 Manji’s Ragged Diary. Players will be given until 11/09/2013 0859hrs (+8 GMT) to collect the items, and will be rewarded with 1 Golden Hammer 50% Coupon.
*Note: Quest can only be done once per character and will be deleted automatically after 11/09/2013 0859hrs if it is not completed by then.
Part 2: [3000days event] Gwen’s Adventure Story (Event Date: 11/09/2013 0900hrs – 18/09/2013 0859hrs (+8GMT)
Accept the quest “[3000days event] Gwen’s Adventure Story” and collect 1000 Gwin’s Travel Stories. Players will be given until 18/09/2013 0859hrs +8 GMT to collect the items, and will be rewarded with Safety Charm (7 days)!

*Note: Quest can only be done once per character and will be deleted automatically after 18/09/2013 0859hrs if it is not completed by then.
*Reminder: Safety Charm will be given after the quest is completed and will be consumed upon death or expire after 7 days if not consumed.
Part 3: [3000days event] Ericson’s Adventure Story (Event Date: 18/09/2013 0900hrs – 24/09/2013 0859hrs (+8GMT)
Accept the quest “[3000days event] Ericson’s adventure story” and collect 1000 Ericsson’s Travel Stories. Players will be given until 24/09/2013 0859hrs +8 GMT to collect the items, and will be rewarded with 1 Suspicious Cube.
*Note: Quest can only be done once per character and will be deleted automatically after 24/09/2013 0859hrs if it is not completed by then.
2. [System Event] Star Star Festival Event (Event Date: 04/09/2013 0900hrs – 17/09/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Star Star Festival is here! Cassandra is giving out stamps to Maplers who spend time enjoying the breeze in MapleSEA!
Begin by speaking to Cassandra and accepting the quest “[starstar] wind is blowing” to obtain a Rustling Vaneitem.
For every 30mins of holding the item, Cassandra will provide you with the same quest “[starstar] wind is blowing” and completing it will provide you with a Star Stamp.
After obtaining the maximum amount of stamps depending on the day of the event, Cassandra will grant a 20min buff for every 30mins of holding the item.
Starting from Day 1 of the event, Cassandra will increase the maximum stamps number of stamps collectableby 5 everyday. Players need not worry about missing out on collection of the stamps as they can be collected at any day during the event as long as the character stays online!
Example :
-On day 1 of the event, the maximum amount of stamps obtainable is 5.
Player 1 stays online for 2hrs 30mins to obtain 5 stamps.
Player 2 stays online for 1hr 30mins to obtain 3 stamps.
Player 3 was not online to collect stamps.
-On day 2 of the event, the maximum amount of stamps obtainable will be 10.
Player 1 stays online for 2hrs 30mins again to reach an accumulated total of 10 stamps.
Player 2 stays online for 4hrs 30mins and catches up with Player 1 to accumulate 10 stamps as well.
Player 3 still has not obtained any stamps. -On day 5 of the event, the maximum amount of stamps obtainable will be 25.
Player 1 and Player 2 stays online for 2hrs 30mins everyday and manages to keep up with the maximum amount of 25 stamps.
Player 3 stays online for 12hrs 30mins and also manages to collect 25 stamps.
To claim your rewards, speak to the Maple Administrator and select “Talk to a Maple Admin” followed by“Exchange star stamp with product” for the following items:
- 10 Stamps : Ability Circulator
 - 35 Stamps : Mystery Mastery Book
 - 50 Stamps : Chaos Scroll 60%
 - 70 Stamps : Clean Slate Scroll 10%
Note: After any exchange, the respective amount of stamps will be deducted from the current amount that the player has.
Note: If a character logs out from the game, he/she will have to re-take the Rustling Vane item from Cassandra and hold it for 30mins before stamps/buffs can be collected.
3. [System Event] PMD with Root Abyss Mini Dungeon (Event Date: 04/09/2013 0900hrs – 30/10/2013, 2359hrs (+8 GMT)
Premium Mini Dungeon is back and with the first ever Newly Implemented Root Abyss Mini Dungeon as well asnew and better rewards! Visit the NPCs Lepree and Rechanuni , who are also stationed beside each Mini Dungeon’s Entrance all over Maple World!
The Maple Mini Dungeon Ticket is necessary for entry into the Premium Mini Dungeon. Speak to NPC Lepreewhen you have the ticket and you will be able to enter.
Do you feel that hunting alone is slow and boring? Simply purchase the Dungeon Ticket (For Party) from the Cash Shop and you can bring a full party of friends in with just one ticket! Take turns buying the ticket to fully utilize your training speed and drops in the Mini Dungeon!
Tip: Only the party leader will be required to have the Dungeon Ticket (For Party) when entering in a party.
Note: The Dungeon Ticket (For Party) will be consumed upon entry if players are in a party, regardless of the amount of members in the party.
While in the Premium Mini Dungeon, monsters will drop Clover Coins  , which can be used to purchase various items from NPC Rechanuni, which includes many item sets and the highly sought-after White Angelic Blessing Ring that grats the White Angelic Blessing buff when worn!
   
Aside from the wonderful items available from Rechanuni, a 10% EXP bonus will be granted for every 100 kills that is made while in the dungeon. This bonus will stack up to a maximum of 50% , granting a total of 150% EXP per kill after the 500 mark!
 
*Note: All Entrance tickets are recommended to be consumed before 30 Oct 2013, 2330hrs (+8 GMT) and no reimbursements will be provided for any unused tickets after the event has ended.
4. [System Event] Golden Dream Secret (Event Date: 11/09/2013 0900hrs – 25/09/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Gold Richie has lost his pigs again and they have wandered off to various spots all over Maple World! This time he has gotten quite unhappy and he has requested that Maplers help him with hunting down these mischievous animals.
Since they have to be hungry sooner or later, the timing for the appearance of the pigs will be similar to the previous time they ran away.

Weekend : Afternoon
Upon defeating a golden pig, there will be a chance to obtain the Golden Pig’s Dream Box.
Due to the powerful aura emitted by the golden pigs, they had influenced some of the monsters in Maple World to drop Secret Boxes too.
1. Only selected monsters will drop the Secret Box.
2. Boxes obtained from higher level monsters will give better rewards.
3. Some rewards from the Secret Box include Beryl Maple equipment, Crimson Maple Equipment, Maple Amethysian Equipment and many other exciting stuff.
5. [System Event] Maple Museum King (Event Date: 11/09/2013 0900hrs – 01/10/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Maple Museum King is here for the first time in MapleSEA! Cassandra is looking for keen Maplers who will be patient enough to collect all the unique and exquisite items required for the museum’s exhibition showcase!
A collection card which shows the 3 different exhibits will be provided by Cassandra which will update accordingly whenever a museum piece has been found from the monsters.
How does the collection card work? (Refer to above image according to the numbers stated)
1. Players will begin collecting items by hunting the unknown pieces from monsters near the player’s level. 2. Only 1 exhibit will be enabled at a time and players must complete 1 exhibit before proceeding to the next. While Maritime Museum exhibit is active, monsters will only drop the respective unknown piece (Unknown Fish >> Maritime Museum , Unknown Sword >> Weapons Museum , Unknown Cookie Man >> Cookie Museum). 3. Upon picking up an unknown piece, a random item will be acquired and updated in the respective exhibit section. Players may also stand a chance to obtain the Collection King’s Keepsake, which will fully complete the current exhibit immediately when double-clicked!
4. Other than the Collection King’s Keepsake, players may stand a chance to obtain Fish Eggs (for Maritime Museum), Weapon Piece (for Weapons Museum), or Cookie Crumbs (for Cookie Museum). Upon collecting 10 of the respective items, players may click on the Exchange button to exchange them for 1 random museum item that has not been obtained yet.
Upon completion of each exhibit, a buff will be given as a reward for the hard work in collecting the items: Maritime Museum : King of Ocean Museum Buff
Weapons Museum : King of Weapon Museum Buff
Cookie Museum : King of Snack Museum Buff
  
Upon completion of all 3 exhibits, a Museum Box will be awarded and the collection card will be reset. Once reset, the card can be completed 2 more times (a total of 3 times per day). The rewards for each completion will be different as follows:
1st Completion : Museum Box for Newbies
Contains: 10 Reindeer Milk , 1 Mystery Mastery Book 2nd Completion : Professional Museum Box
Contains: 10 Power Elixer , 1 Equip Enhancement Scroll 3rd Completion : Royal Museum Box
Contains: 1 Special Potential Scroll , Mastery Book Synergizer
If all 3 sets are completed at least once per day for 7 days , the Maple Museum King medal and Museum King of King Style Decoration will be awarded. The medal provides 300 HP and MP , 5 Weapon Attack and Magic Attack, while the Style Decoration provides +3 All Stats, +20 W.Def and M.Def , +50 Avoidability and Accuracy.
 
6. [System Event] Maple Leaves from the Sky (Event Date: 11/09/2013 0900hrs – 01/10/2013, 0859hrs (+8 GMT)
Falling leaves are a regular sight in the Autumn season, but in Maple World, falling leaves have a different significance! Cassandra has located a special map that Maplers can enter to collect special Maple Leaves that fall from the sky!
To enter this special map, speak to Cassandra or click on the star icon  to accept the quest “Maple Leaves Keep Falling On My Head”. After accepting the quest, Cassandra will teleport you to a special map to collect the falling Maple Leaves.
3 minutes will be given to collect as many Maple Leaves as possible! But it will not be that simple as unwanted items may drop from the trees too! Cassandra has provided details on the possible items that may drop and the effects that are given when they are taken:
1. Red Maple Leaf – Provides 1 Maple Leaf
2. Yellow Maple Leaf – Provides 5 Maple Leaves
3. Rainbow Maple Leaf – Provides 10 Maple Leaves
4. Blue Snail Shell – Slows the character for a short period of time
5. Rock – Stuns the character for a short period of time
6. Maple Coin (Rare drop) – Provides 1 Maple Coin
All Maple Leaves gathered can be exchanged for Maple Coins at Cassandra for 100 leaves per coin, and the coins can be spent at NPC Inkie in the Events Map.
 
Items included in the coin shop includes Personality Trait Potions, Chairs, 30-day Mount coupons, Golden Maple Set items, and much much more!
*Note: Items in the NPC Shop that are highlighted red in color will not be purchasable until the stated date as shown in the example image above. Players may move their cursor over the item in order to view the date that the item can be purchased.
7. [System Event] Random Beauty Coupon (Event Date: 18/09/2013 0900 hrs – 13/11/2013 0859 hrs (+8 GMT)
   
Random Beauty Coupons are back! Most of the monsters in Maple World will drop the Special Beauty Coupon for everyone to use! When using the Special Beauty Coupon, Skin, Eyes and hair will be randomized. Perfect for those that want a fresh dynamic look everyday!
