Hi, learners of English must be made aware of the various stylistic forms of English, certain usage of language are gulity of redundancy like the above quoted sentence. Essentially, this sentence is not very clear in its message, we can only infer what this sentece means. By right, this sentence needs further substantiation.

I would think that the author is trying to ask, as individuals, what can we do in the face of havoc in the world.

Well I think I　need to watch more english movies.

In my opinion, reading English books and newspaper will help a lot in writing.

And as for English movie, it will help a lot in speaking and listening.  But this come with the term that you do not read the Chinese or Malay subtitles.

I found that I have made a lot of mistakes while typing email.
I think I need to pay more attention in the future.

I just realised I have made two mistakes in my sentence.
None realised and I have edited them.

So I think here is a very good place to share and learn from each other.
Reading, writing, listening and speaking are the key factors to master a language.
I always encourage my friends to watch English news.  I believe this will help a lot in listening and pronounciation.  And I am learning with that also.

This is a Thomas Kinkade painting. It's rumored to carry a miracle!   The water is supposed to be running, so if it's not moving then the picture didn't come through entirely.

They say if you pass this on, you will receive a miracle.    I am passing this on because I thought it was really pretty, and besides, who couldn't use a miracle?!

haha...sometimes I am not sure whether you are correct or wrong so I just ignore them...I am "limited company" ...

I think it is something like what kind of action we can take when there is a chaos....forgive me if I make any mistake...

Looks like a good sentence. I like it.

It feels to me like : 在我们的世界被浩劫袭击之际，我们个人到底有着什么力量（来对抗）

Ya，I agree. Well, I am pretty weak in listening....that's why I mention of watching movies == and it's true again that.... I shall not rely to the subtitles... which I usually can't help to...

I will just try my best to correct these 2 sentences since you request it... Some people may not like being corrected and some might not enjoy seeing someone correcting others' mistakes.

'so poor' shall be continued with 'that' eg, My english is so poor that I can't understand what he's talking about.

'at here' does not exist, I guess...

Try avoid using 'at here', 'in here' but just 'here' I did this a lot in my form 3...very very hard to get rid of this><
