The PP3 project began construction in March 2017 and its mechanical completion was achieved in June 2018.
The PP3 plant will produce polypropylene for the domestic and export market.
Polypropylene is a thermoplastic polymer used by our customers to fabricate a wide variety of products including automotive parts, medical equipment and woven bags.

The Board wishes to clarify that the information contained in the News Articles with regard to the Company and its Integrated Petrochemical Facility in Indonesia (“IPF Project”) is incorrect and misleading in several respects. Pursuant to sub-paragraphs 9.09(1) and 9.10(1) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s Main Market Listing Requirements, this announcement is being issued to clarify and correct such errors and misleading aspects of the News Articles.
The Board wishes to highlight that the following statements collectively reported in the News Articles are incorrect and misleading: (a) The IPF Project has been suspended. (b) The IPF Project has made little progress. (c) The IPF Project has been halted.
Referring to the above, the Board wishes to clarify that there has not been any suspension on the IPF Project and it is currently at the final stage of the Front End Engineering & Design ("FEED") study. In parallel, the Company has been working on the environmental impact assessment and undertaking other activities in relation to the IPF Project.

Type | Announcement | Subject | OTHERS | Description | Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Berhad ("the Company")-Imposition of sanctions for alleged breaches of the following: (i) Section 354(1)(a) of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 ("CMSA") read together with Section 215(3)(a)(b)(i) of the CMSA; and (ii) Section 354(1)(b)(ii) of the CMSA read together with Paragraph 3.05(c) of the Guidelines on Due Diligence Conduct For Corporate Proposals (collectively, "the Relevant Provisions") | The Company wishes to inform that the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) has vide its letter dated 9 July 2018 reprimanded the Company for alleged breaches of the Relevant Provisions in relation to the listing of the Company on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 11 July 2017 (“Listing”) and the SC has imposed a penalty of RM560,000 on the Company for the alleged breaches. According to the SC, the alleged breaches had occurred due to (i) the alleged failure of the Company to inform the SC of material developments to the Company prior to the Listing and (ii) the alleged failure of the Company to inform its Principal Adviser of such material developments.
The Company had on 13 July 2018 applied to the SC for a review of the SC’s decision pursuant to section 364 of the CMSA and submitted its grounds of review to the SC on 7 August 2018.
Separately, on 9 July 2018:
(a) in respect of the Company’s two executive directors, the SC had reprimanded and fined each such director RM441,000 for alleged breaches of the Relevant Provisions; and
(b) in respect of the Company’s non-executive non-independent director and the independent directors, that the SC had reprimanded each such director for the alleged breach of the Relevant Provisions.
Each of the directors had then applied to the SC for a review of the SC’s decision pursuant to section 364 of the CMSA.
On 13 December 2018, the SC issued a letter to the Company to state that the SC has decided to dismiss the Company’s review application and maintain its decision in respect of the regulatory breaches and the quantum of monetary penalties imposed.
On 12 December 2018 and 13 December 2018, the SC issued a letter to each of the respective directors stating the following:
(a) in respect of each of the Company’s two executive directors, the SC has decided to dismiss his review application and maintain its decision in respect of the regulatory breaches and the quantum of monetary penalties imposed;
(b) in respect of the Company’s non-executive non-independent director, his further reply in relation to his application for review is required; and
(c) in respect of each of the independent directors, the SC has decided to allow his or her review application and set aside the reprimand against him or her.
The Company takes note of the latest decisions of the SC and the board of directors is conducting internal reviews and is seeking external advice on this matter.
The Company is of the view that this incident has no material effect on the Company’s business operations or financial condition.

The Company hereby denies the rumours and wishes to announce that it has no involvement whatsoever with the said incident.
Reference is also made to the rumour that the Company’s plants in Pasir Gudang will or have been shut down for estimated two (2) weeks due to the pollution of the Sungai Kim Kim incident.
The Company hereby denies the rumour and wishes to announce that all plants in Pasir Gudang and Tanjung Langsat are operating under normal conditions and the Company is conducting business as usual.
The Company has been working closely with the authorities, other organisations and companies in the vicinity in providing support and rendering assistance.
