如果欧洲配方的黑油不适合在马来西亚用，为什么霸市还能卖？不怕买家用了弄坏车而导致他们名誉受损？

假黑油(Shell,Pennzoil,Mobile1..etc)使用一时期..油会少一点点..

真黑油不会变少..这个需要时间自己测试..

但是我奇怪价钱跟普通的 居然没什么差别。

一般人不会知道GTL吧。就算听过的人也未必知道它的cost是多少。
Shell可能看中了消费者的这一个弱点，才可以大赚一笔。
如果他们把产品的价位放的太低，反而引起了消费者的怀疑。

应该比 conventional base oil 贵吧。。我觉得。。
shell 投资 那么多钱 来开发 trademark GTL technology
价钱方面可能要 on par with other base oil 所以放低来卖。。
而且 pureplus 标榜 比 普通 base oil 来的好喔！

pureplus 卖贵贵 也没人要啦，而且没有外销。。自家用罢了。。 好自私。。哈哈

我不知道Shell花了多少R&D cost在GTL。
但GTL的制成品是相对便宜的，主要是现在natural gas比chemical feedstock便宜许多。

我在这2003年publish的GTL文章内有阅读到相关内容：

GTL base oils will not only be competitive with the synthetic PAO base oils, which currently sell for between $4.50-$8 per gallon, but also with the Group III oils which sell for $1.60-$2.50 per gallon and possibly even with cheaper Group II oils. GTL will compete first head-on with polyalphaolefins, because they’re going to say, look our material is as good in most performance categories. Then if there’s more volume they will absolutely compete with Group IIIs. We’ve done a lot of manufacturing economics work in which we’ve concluded that they are very, very competitive from a manufacturing cost standpoint.

新 engine 没用 API SN 黑油，engine 等 收皮。


Toyota N 年前 engine 不算。

很多 cheap cheap底 黑油 没有写 HTHS 的

High temperature High Shear A relatively new oil test/specification, the oil is subjected to high temperature 150C and is mechanically sheared at 1 x 10^6 per second.

A value of 2.8 or is considered the minumum for normal bearing wear. Here are some HTHS numbers on well known oils, the higher the number the more shear stable the oil; 4's and 5's are excellent numbers and demonstrate basestock quality.
