还有哦。。你的database 老师叫你用MS sQL ? My sQL ？ 还是 ms access? sql 的要安装和设置，Ms access就不用。

老师没说需要用哪种哦，只是我朋友帮我做是用vb,mysql, heidsql，我想问看这些sofware我要写怎样的用途（要写报告）？ms access是什么？

ms access = microsoft office access...一种database
vb = visual basic，他的真正用途很多暂时上我只学会如何制作form然后把他和database连接起来而已。通常着software都是拿来做form的。其他的用途，我看要学长们来说说了

Why Call Melody?
The original meaning is music tune. It is a popularname in the 20thcentury. The name represents a sweet, gentle andunderstanding girl.


I am using .NET 2008 SP1 espress Edition for this.
It needs SAPI5.3 (Speech API) , .NET framework 3.5 sp1 and Interop.QuartzTypeLib.dll (video library)


What can I say?

Genaral Instruction
1. "Next"     
          to play next media
2. "Previous"     
          to play next media
3. "Play media"     
          to play the current video
4. "Pause"   
          pause playing
5. "Stop"     
          to stop playing
6. "Full screen"     
          to open the full screen
7. "Open help" OR "Show help"     
          open the Help window
8."Minimize help" OR "Close Help"   
          to minimize Help window
9. "Cancel"     
          Cancel call Melody
10. "Undo"     
          clear the numbers in command form
11. "Exit"     
          to quit the system
12. "Volume Up"     
          increase the volume levels of 10%
13. "Volume Down"     
          decrease the volume levels of 10%
14. "Numbers" + "change volume"     
          to put the volume specified in the X% ("X" refers to the number given)


Changing Playing Time
1. "fast forward"   
          to play 1 minute after the current time
2. "rewind"   
          to play 1 minute before the current time
3. "Numbers" + "fast forward"     
          to play X minute after("X" refers to the number given)
4. "Numbers" + "rewind"     
          to play X minute before("X" refers to the number given)
5. "Numbers" + "minute"     
          play the X minute ("X" refers to the number given)
6. "Numbers" + "second"     
          play the X second ("X" refers to the number given)
7. "Numbers" + "hour"     
          play the X hour ("X" refers to the number given)


Changing Playing Mode
1. "Random mode"   
          when a media is end, system will randomly play a media which in the Playlist
2. "Normal mode"     
          when a media is end, system will play the next media which in the Playlist
3. "Repeat mode"     
          system will keep repeat plays the same media


Editing Playlist
1. "Open media"     
          Will play the media automatically after it is selected.
          The media will also added in to playlist.
2. "Numbers" + "play number"     
          to play a media according to playlist number
3. "Open new playlist"     
          to open a new playlist (. Melody format)
4. "Save playlist"     
          Saving Playlist
5. "Clear playlist"     
          Empty Playlist
6. "Numbers" + "delete"     
          to delete the Playlist object
7. "Open playlist" OR "Show playlist"   
          Open Playlist
8. "Minimize Playlist" OR "Close Playlist"     
          to minimize playlist window


PS:
1. In order to start the voice system, must be called "Melody" at first.

2. "Number" refers to:  
          "one", "two", "three", "four", "five",
          "six", "seven", "eight", "nine", "zero"

3. The media format are only supported by the system are:   
          *. mpg *. avi *. wma *. mov *. wav *. mp2 *. mp3

其实不是ORACLE 或那里那里...
只是看每个人/COMPANY的USAGE + REQUIREMENT.....
能把DATABASE 发挥到最好的就是最好的....

不一样的DATABASE 有不一样的功能的...
