小心驶得万年船。但是几时会起浪，有时经验丰富的船家都不能预测。
我不是个很乐观的人，但我也不要把自己弄得太悲观。投资股票本来都是有风险，我不是个行家，只希望登上一艘好船，祈祷能一帆风顺就好。
市场，往往都是飘浮不定。当起大浪时，一心想着这艘船就要沉下去了，赶紧放弃，跳去另一艘船，但大浪中无一船能幸免，可能再达上的，沉的更快。有些人更跳下海，想游到岸边，但也可能就这样不幸给淹死了。所以坚持抓紧自己的船，可能才是最安全的。
有些朋友，听说乘船很危险，所以不想趁搭。他们永远不能体会坐船的乐趣。也有些人，看了其他人出海捕抓了大鱼，也想分一杯，没有预测出大海的危险，在没有准备下自己出海去了。
一些经验的船家，出海无数，每次都有大的收获，但可能一次的意外，输了一切，或永远回不来了。船长可能不能再获得大家的信任，也可能被嘲笑说是骗子。
注：夜已深，眼皮不争气了。写了什么都不知道（抓抓头发，暗笑了一下，心想要不要submit但还是submit了） |

股海里没有一艘船是绝对安全的。铁达尼都会沉。
我们能够做的就是避免登上破船。MAYBULK是一艘不错的BAHTERA
2006年用RM2.29买了2000股，现在是2500股。
纸上盈利8000+。 |

这些上市公司是1年有四个quarter出财政报告，每一个quarter都会写清楚到底赚多少。
假设往年宣布三次派息
分别在 1st, 2nd, 4th quarter宣布，那么派息可能就会分成3次，然后announcement会写成 1st interim, 2nd interim, final dividend酱紫。
若只有宣布一次股息的话，就会写 1st n final。 |

Cost of shipping commodities at 4-month high

LONDON: The Baltic Dry Index, a measure of shipping costs for commodities, advanced to its highest in more than four months as demand increases for vessels needed to ship commodities from Atlantic ports.
The index, which tracks transport costs on international trade routes, rose 142 points, or 1.5 per cent, to 9,581 points, according to the Baltic Exchange in London. That's a 2.7 per cent weekly gain and the highest since December 19.
"You have quite a lot of sold but unshipped US grains and it's the Latin American soyabean season," Chris Tomlinson, a London-based analyst at Thurlestone Shipping Ltd, said in an interview on Friday. There are ships "committed at Brazilian ports and a fair amount of iron ore to be moved".
Raw material demand has grown from countries such as China, which is stockpiling iron ore as price talks stall between its steelmakers and ore producers. Demand for US wheat may rise after prices fell yesterday to their lowest since November 20, making it more attractive to overseas buyers.
All vessel types in the index gained, led by capesizes, which carry as much as 170,000 tons of coal and iron ore.
Coal derivatives, or financial instruments used to bet on future prices, rose to a record US$139.05 (RM439.24) a metric tonne on Friday. The fuel for delivery to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp with settlement next year advanced US$2 (RM6.32), or 1.5 per cent, to US$139 (RM439 ) a tonne in London, according to GFI Group Inc
The contract is influenced by freight rates that can account for as much as half the price of delivered coal. GFI has about 30 percent of trade in coal derivatives. - Bloomberg

2.special dividend 10 sen...payment day 18/7/08. Izzit the share holder will recieve both dividends at the same time..thank!
