LETTERS OF ACCPETANCE
LETTERS OF ACCPETANCE - MARINA BAY SANDS INTEGRATED RESORT DEVELOPMENT,
SINGAPORE ("THE MARINA PROJECT")
INTRODUCTION
LCL Corporation Bhd (the Company) is pleased to inform that its subsidiary
company in Singapore, LCL Furniture (S) Pte Ltd (LCLS) has on 10 March 2009,
received three(3) separate Letters of Acceptance all dated 9 March 2009 (LA)
from Marina Bay Sands Pte Ltd, Singapore (MBS) for interior fit-out works at a
total contractual sum of SGD43.1 million (equivalent to RM 103.4
million)described as follows:-
a) Trade Contract no. 5214 Contract for fit-out function rooms totaling SGD
17.7 million (equivalent to RM42.5 million);
b) Trade Contract no. 5215- Contract for fit out Ballroom totaling SGD18.6
million (equivalent to RM44.6 million) and;
c) Trade Contract no. 5216- Contract for fit out Pre-function rooms totaling
SGD6.8 million (equivalent to RM16.3 million).
DETAILS OF THE MARINA PROJECT
Marina Project is an integrated resort development in Singapore by MBS which
covers an overall gross area of about 600,000m2 comprising, among others,
hotels, convention centre, exhibition areas, casino, theatres and shopping
arcades. The work scope awarded to LCLS comprised of interior fit out works for
functions rooms, pre function rooms and ballroom and the works shall commence
in May 2009 and it is expected to complete by December 2009. The Marina Project
was secured through a normal tendering process. The said LA is available for
inspection at the registered office from Monday to Friday between 9 am to 5 pm.
FINANCIAL EFFECT
The Marina Project is expected to enhance the earnings of the Group but does
not have any material effect on the net asset per share, share capital and
substantial shareholders of the Group.
APPROVAL REQUIRED
The Board of Directors after due consideration, is of the opinion that the
Marina Project is in the best interest of the company. The Marina Project being
incurred in the ordinary course of business, is not subject to the approval of
the shareholders or any relevant authorities.
DIRECTORS AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS INTEREST
None of the directors or major shareholders or persons connected to them has
any interest whether direct or indirect in the above transaction.

LCL股價重挫90% 買進良機
(吉隆坡12日訊)LCL機構(LCL,7177,主板貿易)獲新加坡濱海灣(Marina Bay)度假村頒發總值1億340萬令吉合約,券商調高09財年營業額18%,並指該股股價自07年最高峰,重挫90%至最低水平,進而調升投資評級至“買進”。
僑豐投資研究指出,就此合約,調漲LCL機構09及2010財年,分別18%和12.6%。
聯昌研究指出,集團訂單多來自迪拜,是項新合約將多元化訂單,是正面舉措。
“新訂單激勵LCL機構訂單總值從4億4000萬令吉,漲至5億4300萬令吉。”
券商指出,假設淨賺幅為7%,新合約將激勵LCL機構09財年淨利770萬令吉。
聯昌研究說,單是宣佈08財年末季財報以來,該股股價暴跌30%,主要是市場擔憂迪拜房產泡沫將破裂。
“自07年高峰以來,股價已大跌逾90%,外資持股權也從07年底的逾40%減至少于10%,目前僅在09年本益比(PE)的1.8倍交易。”
“若股價再滑落,將是收購的好機會。”
僑豐投資研究說,隨目前股價已跌至最低水平,調升評級至“買進”,並給目標價48仙。
聯昌研究則給“短期買進”評級,合理價是94仙。
LCL機構今日逆市走高,交投活絡,閉市報33.5仙,揚0.5仙,成交量356萬4300股。 |

LCL机构准延迟发售附加股

(吉隆坡17日讯)LCL机构(LCL,7177,主板贸服股)获证券监督委员会批准,延长发售附加股的期限至今年8月31日。
LCL机构发表文告指出,LCL机构于去年获得证监会批准,进行股票拆细、发售附加股、修改公司章程等企业活动的建议。
该公司计划在股票拆细活动之后,以5配1的方式发售2千891万7千700股,每股面值50仙的新股。 |
